Why do some religious people want the government to respect their religion but they want to take away the women's right to an abortion?

From my understanding from other threads on this site, many religious people feel that a women's right to an abortion should be taken away because they view her being pregnant as a punishment and she should be punished for wanting sex but no child. So why should women's liberty be taken away but christians have religious autonomy?

They want religion great again from Caesaropapism. Christians also like to talk about politics even that are Chinese without this history. They accept caesaropapism I guess so religion are great I guess.
