Donald Trump has offered to help “low ratings” CNN become a “gold mine” if it turns conservative, while criticising Fox News for pushing a “Democrat agenda”.

The 45th president on Sunday accused his once-treasured conservative television network Fox News of “really pushing the Democrats and the Democrat agenda”, which he argued “gets worse every single day”.

“So many Dems interviewed with only softball questions, then Republican counterparts get creamed,” he wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.

“RINO [Republican in Name Only] Karl Rove is unwatchable, very negative, and on all the time - Has a big record of losing,” he added.

“Not an easy place to be as a Republican, especially with all of the ‘pervert’ purchased ads,” he continued.

Clearly it made sense to invite Viktor Orbán to CPAC (and hold a CPAC in Hungary); they listened to his recipe on how to change a country from a democracy to a dictatorship that just looks a bit like one. Step 1: Take over the free press.

CNN has ben bought out by a corporation whose main shareholder is John Malone, a multi-billionaire cable magnate who donated $250,000 to Trump’s inauguration.

They've fired Brian Stelter, who quite reasonably said:

The new owner of Politico, Axel Springer CEO Mathias Döpfner, sent an email to his executives just before the 2020 election asking if they should meet up to pray for Donald Trump's re-election. (And then lied about having sent it.)

I am not American, so I don't know John Hardwood, but saying that on CNN, even in his last days, is indicative of a good journalist.

Trump's father is (was? I didn't bother to check if he's still alive) rich. He has bloody hands like most short-scale billionaires (In 3/4 of the World a billion would be 1’000'000'000'000, which is the long-scale.) and profited from oligopolistic and illegal practices.

Trump failed at almost, if not all, enterprises he did. Until he realised, maybe even before The apprentice, he could capitalise his father's name with his celebrity status to make money off the Trump brand. He started appearing everywhere and some people got Star-Struck by someone who has no real claims to hard-earned success.

Spending your father's money and making yourself a celebrity a star do not make.

But he was elected President of The United States of America because he knew what a majority of the public craved and how to make himself irresistible to news outlets and social media.
