I think issue is improper understanding and/or usage of Theological constructs. You're not making the connection from Saving Faith (In Christ Jesus) to Fruit of the Spirit (works spawned from Saving Faith) to Obedience within the basic framework of 10 Commandments much less obedience to the whole of the Bible.

Yes, you are judged in all things and voting for a God designed and appointed Governing Entity, that is clearly at Enmity with God (Abortion, et al/ Books of Kings, Chronicles, and Molek etc. in Bible), is blatantly Disobedient. This is why democrats hate Trump as much as they do. Because you cannot shame somebody like him. It pisses them off that as Trump said "I can shoot somebody in the middle of the street and I wouldn't lose a single vote". It's hyperbole, but the sentiment is kind of true. Trump isn't a career politician and that's why they fear him. And he terrorizes the democrats and that's why the Republicans reluctantly accept him. I don't think most Republicans wanted to get in bed with Trump in the beginning because they didn't want him tainting thier electability in the future. Now that they see he seems to have staying power they are. I agree with Liz Cheney in the fact that there is going to be a reckoning for the Republican party. Trump isn't going to live forever.

Barack Obama is a politician and will say anything and tell you anything and be nice to your face. Donald Trump is a shrewd businessman and a little tell you straightforward that you're an asshole.
