The best thing the poor can do is get away from other poor people. No matter how much education or training you give them or how strong their work ethics they'll always be held back by their peers and discriminated against by outsiders.
Therefore I'd help those who've try to better themselves but need help relocating for work.

I'm NOT rich and I help the poor (and I am about to in another hour).
In this part of the USA, we have "Blessing Boxes" which are public boxes in which people put food in - usually canned or dry goods. Anyone who needs some, takes some. We donate on a regular basis.
Unfortunately, I think our blessing box is being abused by the meth heads who live in the trailer park that is a short walk away. So, instead of just taking what they need, they just grab it all.

Well I'm poor and I help the poor people come to me for just about anything because they know that I might have the part it will take to fix what is broken or I will figure it out with what I have

If I was a billionaire, I'd build shelters for them to stay in until they got on their feet. While in the shelters, they'd have regular meetings with psychologists and/or counselors that'd help them get a job, save money and buy their own house.

I'd take maybe 5 girls aged 15-20 that are pretty, healthy and attractive that are a burden to their family and move them into my home as my wives so that they may bear me children, keep my home and satisfy all my romantic needs

I already donate to non-profit organizations and homeless shelters, so that way I can get a tax write-off and keep my money.

I try to help people because I have compassion for people, not to make anybody like me. But I do it mainly for the write-off.

Not a damn thing. I am not rich, but I grew up poor and seen a lot of people waiting for handouts. Fuck that. Opportunities are out there so grind it out like I did!

What's your definition of poor? My definition of poor is someone who is struggling to meet their basic needs like food, clothing and shelter, not someone who can't afford a car or smartphone.
