How helpful are you for the poors and unpriviliged ones?

I've given food and help (rides, fixing cars, stuff like that) countless times, but I rarely give money, because it's so often abused. I also do volunteer work at a couple of different churches every year. They have temporary housing for people trying to get back on their feet, and so I've installed TVs and WiFi and other tech stuff in these dorms for free, as well as providing used but still good computers for them, so they can apply for jobs and so forth.

I've also given used TVs and other AV gear to people I know who have very little and can't afford to buy newer stuff. I've upgraded 7 or 8 people from CRTs to flat screens that my customers gave to me when they upgraded, and I have installed them (wall-mounted them) for their new owners for free.

This hardly makes me Mother Theresa, but at least I do something.

When I'm in a position to help them I do I've bought meals for people, given people rides to their houses and helped them put their groceries away, given em money, the last thing I did was buy some non perishable food for a homeless guy so that he had something to eat that wouldn't spoil.

But sadly right now I'm not really in a position where I can help them.

I try to be nice to everyone who crosses my path but I have a few ground rules

1 - They can’t anger me excessively with unjustifiably bad or mean behaviour

2 - They can’t be a threat to my safety or the safety of others

3 - They can’t waste my money or my time - Also can’t drain either one if they don’t waste it.

I donate to some charities that help get people into workforces whether that be providing anything from clothes and food to childcare and a home.
