How do you give to the poor but not get exploited or create a toxic dependance?

Give them the KNOW HOW. Teach them, don't provide for them. Look all these people saying give to shelters and all these bullshit. That's the same thing! Dont do that. That just furthers the same thing. Teach them all to live. That's the problem. You think little boys come out the womb criminals? No they are taught to be that way on average. You think people are earning 50k a year because they want to be poor... No it is because they dont know how to earn 400k+ without working themselves into the ground.

I think what some organisations do these days is set a criteria - eg. I’ll disburse financial assistance to your family if you attend a financial literacy course or have a full time job but still unable to sustain your family’s living expenses. I personally have experience helping families living in rental flats - many of them refuse to go to work because the amount of money they’re getting is the same as if they were to work daily.
