Probably not. The UK is going to suffer as it is so causing more upheaval is not a good idea. Furthermore it is a great resource for the UK in a public, economic and diplomatic way. Outside of the fact that it establishes a literal upper class with special rights they do actually more than pay for themselves and provide a national benefit.
