But Brits just got a new King, so why hurry so much?

King Charles has been diagnosed with a form of cancer, says Buckingham Palace. They say nothing more, which means it's not terminal. I think there is no need to worry.

  So, Charles' eldest son Prince William is the heir to the throne, followed by William's eldest son Prince George, and then his younger children Charlotte and Louis. Prince Harry, Charles' younger son and William's brother, is then next in line.

Highly unlikely. Charles III is 75 so should make it into the 2030's easy. The next monarch will be a king. William Prince of Wales then Prince George.
Princess Charlotte could become Queen only if George dies without children.
