Just saw he's sending another 300k troops to Ukraine. I feel like the more soldiers he loses the more unhinged he's going to become. Hopefully he's not crazy enough but I think he'd send a nuke

I actually thought he was setting them up recently to use tactical nuke. Draw them in, blow them up. The reason not to would be it destroys an area for a long time... that is likely slowing him down.

He's not afraid of the west reactions because they won't do anything to him. If putin fires one tactical nuke what do you think USA will do? Sanctions and words! They won't get into a broader fight.

So as said before, I'd be finding a peaceful solution to end this, but I don't see one.

Again, I favor Ukraine here, I'm not on Russias side. I hope they find a peaceful solution to this family conflict. It's not looking so good right now...

There's ALWAYS a chance. Look at the Russians fleeing Russia right now to avoid Putin's war. The Question is, is Putin really that mad? Is he the type that if he's cornered and facing death will he decide he's rather just leave his lasting impression on this world in a bad way. (Because Putin is a dead man if he's ever deposed) And speaking of that. Given the lack of popularity of the War in Ukraine inside Russia. How far does Putin continue down this path before the Russians overthrow him.

Russian tactics in ww2 were simple, you can shoot us by the millions but there's always more in reserve. They lost countless but eventyally won.
Putin seems to be playing the same game. Send enough targets and the Ukrainians will run out of ammo. I don't think he'll use nukes, conscripts are cheaper and easier to replace. The danger comes when those conscripts refuse to fight, that's when the mushrooms start popping up.

I doubt it- he seems to be focusing largely on his legacy, assuming that he can rebuild Russian glory on a pile of corpses, since it worked so well for the Mongols. Nuking someone stands a decent chance of kicking off WWIII, and I don't think he's crazy OR stupid enough to want to build his legacy on destroying civilization.
