it wasn’t mandatory or anything but a client of mine was coming from Chicago to New York and my boss asked if I want to go to dinner with them. He knows I live a pretty far commute away and told me the day of. Like could you give me a heads up? And the client who I talk to at least several days a week did not even tell me he was coming. I appreciate the invite but you need to give me a couple days notice or something because it’s hard for me to get there without planning ahead
