Are the people trying to legalize marijuana the same ones that are trying to outlaw cigarettes?

I don't know if its the same people, but this seems reasonable. Both tobacco and alcohol are more harmfull than weed, so it doesn't make sense to keep weed illegal but alcohol and tobacco legal and even show ads for them.

Yes, as tobacco is a pollutant and a leading cause of lung cancer.

THC and hemp on the other hand, are not.

It is not all of them but there are people who actually believe that weed is a cure for cancer.
