I mean I get that you're supposed watch before making a lane change but I would have had to look 600ft back for that guy. Usually I look about 200ft behind me before changing lanes, so I get halfway into the next lane and I see this dude doing about 100mph flying up on my ass and he would have rear ended the shit out of me if I didn't veer back into the other lane. Then another asshole pulled out in front of me this morning and I missed him by about a foot. Then just now this dude came flying around the corner while I'm pulling around a car parked too close to the stop sign. I've never had 3 close calls in a single day. Wtf is wrong with people? Is it because it's a Saturday?

We sure have some fucked up driving laws. No wonder people drive the way they do. You can run into the back of someone doing 100 and it's not necessarily your fault.

Its their fault but that fact will be of little consequences if your killed or your car is totaled in the accident.
Always drive defensively and follow the REAL rules of the road, don't assume anyone will follow the written ones or you will be punished as bad or worse.

I think each person pays for the person's car they hit. So if somebody slams into you and pushed you into the person in front of you you pay for their damage. They can't have one guy pay for 20 cars.

if you make a complete lane change properly and get rear ended, the other driver is at fault. if you make an improper lane change, you're at fault
