Only narcissist believe in “ideal love” / “the one”?

Truth is nobody is perfect, nobody is special, we’re all human beings in this world.

“The one” is just a concept created to fill our narcissistic existential void. We fear our own mortality because we are narcissistic animals, we want to feel special and feel like we’re “somebody to someone”.

People begin assigning meaning to fate, destiny, etc to explain romance. Which are things that you can nurture with anyone who is emotionally mature. Love is a choice you make to nurture something with someone.

Yea it seems to be myth created by hollywood, I believe that love tend to be overrated.

There are definitely people who are ideal for eachother. No I do t believe in sould mates, but it's just plain logic that some people have a person/people who are ideal for them and who will be able to make them happier than other people can.
