How do you feel about people who leave gender pronouns in their email signatures/online bios?

I am seeing more and more of this crap at my job and side work (which is online).

At first it was mostly leftist biological women leaving this crap. But I recently worked with an otherwise normal man who left this in his signature. To me it just screams “I am woke and I just HAVE to let the entire world know…”

I guess if you really did get a sex change then I can get why you leave gender pronouns. But if you are just a normal man or woman this just looks stupid. You are either jumping on the woke bandwagon and/or you put that in your signature to feel special/condescending.

I know the long term goal is to force everyone else to leave “gender pronouns” in their identity as a societal rule or something. At some point if you don’t you will get signaled out as a “bigot” or something.

Personally I will NEVER do that bs. Never. But the scary and sad part is so many impressionable people do this to be part of the “in crowd woke movement”.

They're people to not take least bit seriously and I completely stop taking them seriously. Like, in real life.

I only just got my Masters degree in 2019, and I had a university career counselor and I said I wanted to see another counselor and she asked why (even though at first, I wasn't going to say anything), and I told her she had pronouns on her name plate in her office, and the fact the others didn't, means she CHOSE to do that, and she was a clown and not anyone to take seriously, let alone waste my time on and I wanted to see an actual professional, not a woman-child role-playing in a "grown up" job. I said this all, to her face, as professional and cordial as possible. I then walked away from her before she could say anything else.

That is what most people should do to these "pronoun" types: call them out for being clowns, and walk away. Don't waste time with them and don't be unnecessarily rude. Just tell the honest truth.

The only exception I can give to someone, is if their office MAKES them do that BS. But considering how woke rules work, and how some people can "prefer not to state their pronouns, because they're not comfortable with that," I don't see how they can enforce this as a policy. That's why the other career counselors didn't have pronouns on their name plates.

I'm all for LBGTQXV7@+Z rights (or however many letters they have, now), but I'm not going to try and remember every freaking pronoun. If your name is Steve, then I'm gonna fucking call you "Steve," "him," "he," "that guy that smells like BO," until you officially get your dick chopped off, complete your transition, and change your name to Stephanie.

You wanna be called a girl? Fine, then go all the way, and complete the process. Even though you'll still just be a guy with a fake vagina.
