If the Roman Empire was reconstituted today, what would be its power in the world?

They had the same bad style as Putin - they have common goals
= molesting and exploiting the neighbours.
The Romans could make lasting buildings. Comes in handy to repair the Krim bridge. They may form an alliance; also because the Bosporus passage then can be kept open
(Erdogan of course will shit his pants - in exile somewhere)
From the late Roman degenerated life style the Romans would be closer to the U. S., though.
Power: not any more. Others had filled the gaps meanwhile; and the former Roman regions of possession now are pretty much run down from an economic point of view.
I’m not sure I understand. There have been dramatic changes in technology since then. Are they still using catapults and swords?
People forget a lot of Romes power came from the fact members could trade across the empire with ease. I'd think today it's role's largely filled by the EU.

It would basically be the EU. The most powerful economy in the world.
I don't know how it could be reconstituted. Each empire have it's strengths that define it. What would or could reconstitute it?
Satan would be in town…
