If the United States of America went the way of the Roman Empire, what do you think would come next?

It depends on how they would fight. Americans with shields and swords and other ancient types of weaponry or Romans with the newest, modern and sophisticated weapons of the present century.
In both cases, ROME would tear the USA into 1000 pieces.
But if the USA fought with today's weapons against the Romans of 2000 years ago, the USA would win in a few hours (just as long as it would take to cross the Atlantic).
