Well, apparently the justice system feels he has paid his debt to society after being imprisioned for 36 years.

If you had bothered to spend, well, any amount of time really, looking this up you would have learned that the thing being considered 'low level' is the assessment of his reoffending chance based on his rehabilitation etc.

You may not like it, but he does appear to be a different person now, as you might expect from someone who has aged 36 years.

Clearly he did some awful shit and I can understand why you might want a stronger punishment than 36 years but don't pretend you occupy any kind of moral high ground here after having complaining that he wasn't murdered during his incarceration.

Furthermore he isn't just being released, free as a bird, just like that, he is going to be 'supervised' until 2034, thats another 12 years..

The exact nature of the restrictions is unclear or not determined at this time but could include things like gps tracking and having to sign in with whoever, that sort of thing.

So maybe next time you read a shocking article in a trashy magazine or low brow newspaper you could spend a bit of time fact checking the story instead of posting 'fake news' on the internet and then moaning about it and expressing your outrage that more people aren't being murdered.
