When a woman wears her husband's clothing. How come she is not marked as a crossdresser?

So my wife likes to wear my sweat shirts and other items. I always call her a crossdresser and she says its not.

But then I said, but if a man wears his wife stuff. He is labeled as a crossdresser.

. What's the difference, when both are wearing are wearing the opposite genders clothing?

It is just words, you can call it cross dressing if you want to, in a way I guess it is. But to me, cross dressing is where you are mentally trying to feel like you are the other sex or experience the world at least a little that way, vs if I wear my boyfriend's clothes, it is mainly just that they are comfortable (they are super loose and baggy on me) and remind me of him. Some outfits are a little boyish or something, for example once as a server/waitress I had to wear a white shirt and necktie, but the idea isn't to look like a boy, the idea is to highlight the contrast to make us look even more girlish. I don't think those are crossdressing bc that is not the goal. But again if you want to call them crossdressing I guess you could!!

More often than not, she’s not likely trying to pass as someone of the opposite sex.
Same reason we don’t label people cross dressers for wearing cross-sex costumes for Halloween. There ARE female cross dressers. Sometimes they’re quite impressive.

I think to be a cross dresser you dress to appesr as the other sex. Our clothing includes men styling. Men don't wear 95$ of the things we wear, like anytjing with a skirt or heels.
