@OlderAndWiser I think you are right. Sadly, there are many conservative-minded who just don't care that much about voting. Even the ones who donate money sometimes don't bother to vote. And some others are too busy taking care of their kids or running a business.

We won't have a count. We will have a delayed count with the final results not coming out until November 15th at least. Them there will be multiple recounts. And there will be 3 or 4 court cases. And then finally the final results will come in on Christmas Day when no one is paying attention. And they will be in favor of the Democrats.

I think the Republicans win the House by a decent margin with 235 to 245 seats.

In the Senate I would not be surprised to see the Democrats keep it and pick up a seat or two. The GOP is running some really poor candidates. Best case for the Republicans I can see is keeping the seats they have and picking off up to three Democrats, so anywhere from 52-48 Dem to 53-47 GOP. Most likely is 51-49 one way or the other.
