Anonymous(18-24)+1 yBiden doesn't know where he is, most of the time. The man had dementia. That is obvious. Someone at the White House has the job of changing his adult diapers and putting him to bed. He is barely able to read a teleprompter. Occasionally, he will slip up and say crazy things like this, but his handlers will quickly shut that down. Nobody knows who is actually in charge. It sure isn't Kamala. She is almost too stupid to breathe air. Watch the video of Biden getting pushed around by someone in a bunny costume at the Easter egg hunt. That was funny and pathetic at the same time.

Joe Biden aka the man that raise gas prices, probably is about to put us on WWIII, reason there's so much inflation, another reason some countries laugh at us. By 2024 I'm voting for either Trump or DeSantis

The fentanyl economy is booming... Joe has a 10% share in a Chinese chemical company that makes the ingredients for fentanyl that are then sent to Mexico and smuggled across the border he opened up by mules. I'm sure his drug game is booming at the expense of Black people's lives...

Let's do some fact checking shall we?
Here's the graph of the purchasing power of $1 over the timeline since 1913.

By 1913 $1 could buy 30 chocolate bars from Hershey
By 1933 $1 could buy 10 beer bottles
By 1953 $1 could buy 10 pretzels
By 1971 $1 could buy 17 oranges
By 1997 $1 could buy 4 grapefruits (or oranges if you will)
Today $1 can buy 1 tiny Starbucks coffee perhapsHere is the source: https://elements.visualcapitalist.com/purchasing-power-of-the-u-s-dollar-over-time/
While it's not entirely wrong, that the USA (and parts of Europe) are wealthy countries with well established and functioning infrastructure and many things just work, in economical sense they are in the middle of a downfall.
There's a reason most known gangster rappers show off their Money, Mansions, Ferrari's, Jets and Gold Diggers in their music videos in America and not in Nigeria or Russia.

00 Reply412 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, obviously it's fucked.
However, the quickest way to fix the economy is to convince everyone that it's not broken. That way they go out and spend money, which keeps other people in their jobs, allowing them to go out and spend money as well, and so on - whereas going on about inflation and how expensive it will be to heat your house this winter etc, makes people afraid to spend money, having the opposite effect.
It's what FDR meant in his inaugural speech, when he said "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself".
In fact, it's probably the only way to fix the economy without heavy public spending (like FDR's "New Deal"), taxing the rich / corporations, or nationalising the energy industry - and you can imagine what conservatives would say about those (I'm sure the word "communism" would come up).00 Reply6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yeah. The track has been laid to get it moving with purpose. We just have to deal with the lingering inertia of the global pandemic, which shouldn't be too much longer. Unless of course republicans take the house - they will sabotage the recovery on purpose just to create 2024 campaign material, as they have already done thus far for 2022 campaign material..

Oh wait I think I see where you might be confused. Democrats have put in place a solution that will work >over time.< But there is no >instant< solution. If there was one republicans are free to propose it. But there isn't. Instead republicans will campaign on complaining about the problem, offering no additional solutions, attempt to sabotage those long term solutions democrats put in place if they get power, and what they can't sabotage they will claim credit for despite opposing it every step of the way.

Mr. Biden and the Democrats have total control of the House and Senate, and even with the Senate filibuster are able, through budget reconciliation, to pass whatever they want economically.
In other words, the Republicans, as much as they might want to, simply do not have the capability of sabotaging the economy. - +1 y
You know not a single Republican senator will vote for anything that looks like a win for Democrats. How often have Collins or Murkowski voted with Democrats and the two Independents? How often has anything major passed with 46 Democrats, two Independents, and a couple of Republicans?
- +1 y
@goaded www.senate.gov/.../vote_117_2_00348.htm#position
And a few more. - +1 y
They weren't alone, were they? Many other Republicans voted for both of those (the must-pass federal budget and someone's nomination to a directorship). Your point was that those two radical left-wing Republican senators, Collins and Murkowski, would make up for Sinema and Manchin. That's never happened.
- +1 y
Well, I said: "They can only pass what the most right wing Democratic senators will allow. You must know that."
You responded: "@goaded Nowadays you have few Clinton-like Democrats. Most of them gone gone to the left since then. Manchin is the sole exception."
"@goaded Besides, on the other side you also have senators that would help passing it, like Collins or Murkowski."
Except they don't help passing things that Manchin and Sinema refuse to vote for, do they? Things like voting rights, or Build Back Better (which never even got to a vote, because it was obvious there wouldn't be a single Republican vote for it, even though they're crowing about the money the eventual legislation, the Inflation Reduction Act they didn't vote for, brought into their states). Like I said, "what the most right wing Democratic senators will allow", and no sign of Republicans making up for their no votes. - +1 y
@Trodt2 of course they can. Remember how Trump wanted to order the full pull out from Afghanistan in late January just to create a huge mess for Biden? Remember how the Trump administration denied all handover for months just to create a huge mess for biden? Remember how Trump staged a coup and continued to spout divisive rhetoric to this day just to create a huge mess for biden? Republicans are lock step with all of this. Both of the bills democrats have passed through have been pretty amazing. But republicans are pushing messages that they are somehow bad just to create a huge mess for Biden. Turning public support against good work, just because republicans want that money for themselves, is sabotage.
- +1 y
@TroyDT2 The Democrats have 48 senators, any one Democratic or Independent senator can scupper or water down any bill that the party as a whole wants. And that's for the few things that can be done under reconciliation.
And, yes, Trump absolutely did stage a coup. We now know that it was planned before the election, the lies had been rehearsed, there was fraud, forgery, and a violent armed mob.
Rational discourse is not possible with people who ignore the facts.
"The Select Committee got this pre-prepared statement from the National Archives. As you can see, the draft statement, which was sent on October 31st, declares, "we had an election today - and I won." And the Fitton memo specifically indicates a plan that only the votes counted by the Election Day deadline, and there is no Election Day deadline, would matter."
"And what Trump's going to do is just declare victory, right? He's gonna declare victory, but that doesn't mean he's the winner, he's just gonna say he's a winner. The Democrats — more of our people vote early that count. Theirs vote in mail, and so they're going to have a natural disadvantage and Trump's going to take advantage of it. That's our strategy.
He's gonna declare himself a winner. So when you wake up Wednesday morning, it's going to be a firestorm. Also — also if Trump is — if Trump is losing by 10:00 or 11:00 at night, it's going to be even crazier, you know, because he's gonna sit right there and say they stole it." - +1 y
@TroyDT2 Here's what a judge wrote today about emails between Trump and one of his lawyers (tl;dr: these four emails are evidence of Trump committing a crime):
"There are four documents, however, in which Dr. Eastman and other attorneys suggest that—irrespective of the merits—the primary goal of filing is to delay or otherwise disrupt the January 6 vote. In one email, for example, President Trump’s attorneys state that
“[m]erely having this case pending in the Supreme Court, not ruled on, might be enough to delay consideration of Georgia.” This email, read in context with other documents in this review, make clear that President Trump filed certain lawsuits not to obtain legal relief, but to disrupt or delay the January 6 congressional proceedings through the courts. The Court finds that these four documents are sufficiently related to and in furtherance of the obstruction crime. Accordingly, the crime-fraud exception applies, and the Court ORDERS Dr. Eastman to disclose the four documents."

The US is still able to pay off the interest on it's loans, and manage it's multi trillion dollar debts.
That money is coming from the economy. Sure, the US is only going to manage to pay it's bills for a short while, but that isn't Biden's job to look after.

+1 yCurrent inflation is the result of corporate greed. Gas prices are the result of the war in Ukraine and I fully support Biden on putting blockades in place to stop buying oil from Russia.
As for the job market, we have tons of job openings and unemployment is way down. People have jobs, but many big companies are taking advantage of supply shortages to price gouge people. This is basically proof that capitalism is flawed and Marx was correct.

All the big issues currently are just made to look like Bidens fault. Smokescreen. He’s not intelligent enough to have created them himself.
