I left in 2014. CA is trash now. I left for many of those reasons. I think 20-30% in the next decade will leave. We’re seeing something for the first time ever in CA. Homeless people who aren’t addicts, who aren’t mentally ill, but rather are simply priced out of the market. That does not describe the majority of people who are homeless in CA, but we are now seeing people who are homeless and living in vans simply because they can’t afford and apartment even in the hood.

The VAST majority of the rest of the country want nothing to do with poop on the streets, controlling what vehicles they're allowed to own, dealing with high crime, power outages, and in general, a lousy way to live. I don’t think many people in California realize how bad California is. I once watched a podcast and they were talking to a guy from South Africa about crime. And he said it wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be and that he had only been carjacked once. Fires (Most of the fires are actually from arson. Even after it is proven to be arson and people are arrested, the same news station that reported the arson arrest goes on to claim it is climate change in the next news hour. A couple were caused by electric transformers exploding)

Land Slides (I don't know about that one. It is rare and has nothing to do with politics so I don't know why it was included in his list.)

Low pay /High cost of living (True. CA has regulations AGAINST building regular size single family homes making it illegal to build them in many places.)

Power outages (CA has had rolling power outages/brownouts, mostly in the larger urban areas. They even issued warnings for people to not charge electric cars they the democrats here push for because the grid can't handle it.)
