This was from the comments section of a video report about Incels. I no longer remember which video it was, unfortunately.

I disagree. How many bad awful women are in your area, combined with your family upbringing, combined with your looks, weight, and height, determines whether or not you'll be more likely to end up with the personality of an incel.

Men who live in big Liberal cities filled with sh*tty Liberal women who love to treat men like garbage, who came from broken family households or had no father figures or loving mothers in them, who happen to be short, overweight, or otherwise unattractive, are the ones who end up as incels. Essentially, no positive female influences or love in their entire life.

And while all of that does apply to me, no, I'm not a f*cking incel. I personally just got fed up with women's sh*t and stopped doing the thing 95% of men do, where they kiss women's asses, hoping to get laid or date them. Since that's not an option for me, I talk to women exactly like I do men, now. And some women can't handle a guy not kissing their ass, thus any guy who doesn't is labeled "incel." As if I still gave a f*ck.

The difference between an incel and not, is that incels never work on themselves, take responsibility for their problems, or seek self-improvement. While I HATE that I was apparently "born too inferior and short to deserve love," I don't lack the ability to improve myself in other areas, take introspection, and decide to not waste my time anymore on people who did nothing but badmouth me and insult me just for existing, makes me far from an incel, despite what idiot Liberal women on GAG like SubaruGirl think.

But the TL;DR is, I disagree.

That's like saying "Curt Cobain didn't get lonely and depressed".

1. The issue is not with the predicament they are in. Loneliness is an epidemic. Male loneliness is has gotten especially heavy because men don't have the support structures women do. The issue is with the narrative they created as to why.

2. Most of the time, they have a problem in some other aspects of their lives which is causing their issues. Often one that isn't a reflection of them as a person or is easier to reform. The the narrative they hold has them focusing all their attention on some other aspect. Like he could be extremely condescending and push her away. But the other guy is 0.5" taller so he decides "women are obsessed with height".

3. Incels exist for women as well. They just didn't give themselves a special label. In the example above, a woman's equivalent might be her viewing men as oppressors first and foremost and being condescending to any who disagree, but then she thinks she's single because she has acne or her butt isn't the right shape. So she uses that to double down on the idea that men are primarily oppressors, which only exacerbates the issue.

I would argue that the #1 issue for most of these people is that there simply aren't good ways to go out and mingle like there used to be. COVID cranked this to 11 and now we have national cabin fever. Everyone losing their minds and not knowing why, so they assume "the other gender did it" when "the other gender" was stuck in bed watching Netflix and working from home the exact same as you.

They are factors, but not absolute by any means. Also, i think the term “incel” is about as dumb as it gets. Almost everyone is “involuntarily celibate” at least sometimes; some more than others. The number of people who are involuntarily celibate all of the time has got to be so low that that’s not actually what people who use that word are talking about. It’s just a shit talk term used by lazy and ignorant people meant to marginalize people who are voicing legitimate concerns that the name-callers can’t or won’t solve. This is general black pill philosophy... I prefer the redpill approach where you can bux max, gym max, looks max and so on. The only time I really agree with the black pill approach is if the person has decided that women are just too much hassle to bother themselves with and they'd rather just eat pizza and play video games... kinda like a red pill MGTOW monk in my opinion. Even the worst looking guy could hire an escort if he really wanted to. “Incel” is a misnomer for simply just misguided and uncontrolled frustration in my opinion. They have no purpose in life and no one to guide them so they take it out on the society and specifically women who reject them.

These men typically grew up with absent fathers and a lack of good role models to channel their emotions toward productive ends. Unfortunately, the only people who care or sympathize enough to help are also heavily demonized by society, so the problem will continue to grow.

To some extent I think face and height could play a role, but I think personal attitude and geographic area has a lot to do with it as well. Some more rural areas have less available dating options than larger metropolitan areas.

There are no social repercussions to being a certain race, or having an unattractive face, but short height in men is a very serious handicap, both socially and romantically.

People will tell you that all you need is confidence and personality, and I'm not saying this as an excuse for you not to develop those things, but height is one of the most if not the most important factor in attraction, and no amount of confidence will change how your height is perceived.

I've never heard a woman say a guy was too ugly to be able to protect her.
