I mean this isn’t an opinion, per se. Musk linked to a far right, rag of a newspaper who already took down the article because it was BS.

It’s quite literally the very definition of Fake News. Should Musk be red flagged for this?

It should be regulated in some way. But that´s no going to happen by twitter because Musk´s goal is to build his brand and that means any attention for the brand is good attention. If there were people that put but there hate speech no matter against whom Musk probably won´t care. He didn´t buy the platform for the common good.

Word goes that twitter plans a pay button to get prominent accounts verified in the future. The regulation of bs is part of a democracy and not being able to do so will end the democracy it´s as easy as that.

That's what you're job is, right? If you disagree or have evidence/proof he's spreading "misinformation", you need to provide it. That is what an open forum is all about. It's no different on here, is it? For MONTHS, you said Sicknick was beat to death by rioters on Jan. 6. You were called out, by users, that you were wrong. Twitter should be NO different.

Life was better when people weren't such babies about others having opinions. People had thicker skin AND they were more respectful too because you could definitely get punched in the mouth for saying the wrong thing to the "right" person. It's just that you got a lot of leeway too. People had manners. They didn't need a company or the government imposing rules.

If people who were previously banned from Twitter are allowed back on Twitter then youtube should allow let 2 girls 1 cup and every harmful prank videos or other video taken down back on youtube. People this has nothing to do with views it has to do with a violation of community standards which the harmful content could lead to someone doing something dangerous, illegal, or violent in real life. To be honest I did find some of these pranks funny and a lot of them are probably fake but it still doesn't make them right. But I know most of you with guns would've shot this bastard if he tried this stuff to you which is probably why he's staying in England where there are less guns.

It really isn't a question. Twitter is now, the property of Elon Musk. He can do with it whatever he likes.

The point is, we do not have to stay. Nor do any advertisers and businesses that use the platform. People are going to have to start to use their voice and their vote. If you don't want this nation to descend into a hellish nightmare of conspiracy hate-filled violence, now is the time to act.

If he let's it be too loosey goosey and people suffer financial harm or otherwise from language used about them that are acceptable under his TOS, or if they refuse to enforce the TOS. It is concievable that Twitter could die under a montain of lawsuits.

The problem with regulating or censoring is that it is too easy for those in power to shut down truthful info that they do not want released. Some might think that is fine when their side is in control, but what about when the other side controls the censors? It's better to know what people are thinking or spewing and to maintain the power to dispute it or disprove it.
