Do people seem to follow you around in public and how do you get them to leave you alone?

seriously I’m not even kidding. There is SO many times where i notice the same person constantly lingering around me. They aren’t really doing anything and it’s almost done intentionally. It makes me uncomfortable.

Maybe some don’t do it on purpose. I don’t want to jump to conclusions but this sort of thing happens a lot. Sometimes some will even just keep bumping into you and stuff. Won’t say sorry or nothing else. Even if I say excuse me. It’s super awkward and I shouldn’t have to. Because they bumped me and I was out of the way.

First, how sure are they’re following you specifically? There is retail psychology that looks at how “herds” are formed in stores…
Second, do have any paranoia in other parts of your life?

No not really. I don’t like herds crowding around me though. I just like to usually go when it isn’t busy. But even then there is still someone always around.

The thing is I can usually tell when it’s not intentional or when they aren’t even really looking or buying anything

Totally agree and I only go out after the crowds die down, too. Not gonna say weirdos aren’t out there who will follow you for no reason. That has occurred. Just like people getting harassed by email or phone later to find out it’s some OCD asshole.

Id tell them off or call the cops and say you are being threatened.

Yeah I have told people to get away from me before most of the time it does not go that far. I have not been the victim of a crime thank God. But it makes me worry sometimes
