Why do so many people hate feminism? (Page 2)

Question

Would you call yourself a feminist or an anti-feminist? I've noticed there's plenty of people on here, of both genders, that are against the movement, why? Is it because they are against gender equality or because of something that movement has done in recent years?  I just wanted to clarify the reasons why.

I am against “feminism” because it caused women to Stop being Women and start being Men. “Feminism” made women Lose their Role. Being a Wife and Mother does Not degrade women. Saying a woman has a “Role” does not degrade her either. Everything has its Place. That is why they put the Dishwasher next to the Sink instead of next to the Refrigerator!

What most misogynist chauvinist boys don't like is being held accountable for their attitudes and biases about how they treat women. Sex is no one's right and if you feel you deserve sex for acting nice then you are not a nice guy, you are a jerk who deserves to be lonely.

It used to be about rights for women firstly, then when they achieved that, they would go on about equality for all, but well, that doesn't happen.

Modern waves have turned into man hate, and picking stupid things to call "sexist". The one about office air conditioning being sexist baffles me.

Most modern feminism has turned into misandry.

I thought I knew what feminism was when I was younger until I went to university and learned what it actually is. I am not a feminist anymore. Feminism is harmful to everyone, not just boys/men.

Some of them perceived or blame feminism for their personal failures in particular their relationship failures.

It's always super easy to lay blame at someone or something when you're life is screwed up and they blame feminism as the scapegoat, rather than realizing they are the screw up and need to fix themselves.

Well the Genders are inherently unequal
I think the biggest problem is not feminism, but the dynamic in which the western cultural system has men and women competing against one another for the same resources.
Also, i will never treat women like I would treat men. Women need to be treated differently and expect to be treated differently. Unequal doesn't mean, mistreatment.

I think it depends on how feminism is expressed and explained. There are those who take as woman against men and same take as Equality. No matter what or why or how it is taken. I think that sure it is good that woman are standing up for them self I know it be along road for equality but it can be done just that everyone has to participate but either way humans are human nothing more.

Probably because women aren’t really equals physically, we all have our gender roles so we really can’t be equal in every way, but they are only trying to be equal when it suits them because I can’t imagine them having a protest about not being drafted into the army
