Social media has banned both his speeches and books. Mein Kampf was the worst book of all time but his speeches were good. They are censored and most content is removed with only trash left.

Nope, books should never be banned. It is better to acknowledge that the ideas he propagated are bad rather than banning the books as a whole. Besides, nobody is going to follow his ideals except the 0.001% people who are Nazis... which is an extreme minority.
He was a good orator who made the people believe that his ideas would benefit the society, but well, shit went south, and he wasn't so bright after all. His speeches were powerful, but the content was FAR from what could be termed as "good". He was just a deluded fool who was very articulate and knew how to manipulate people.
bit hard to decide because it is technically free speech, i read a bit of mein kampf and it's exactly what you would expect and i feel like his speeches are pretty easy to find, we were shown them in history classes even but i think it should be banned from being shared and spread on social media platforms, it shouldn't be completely removed from the internet obviously but just social media i guess, but then how far do we go because there have been tons of bad people in history who say hate speech
Of course not- you don't overcome ideas by hiding them; you expose them and have them openly discussed in the intellectual public square. Hitler's nonsense wouldn't last very long if it were talked about freely and openly.
And as you say, Mein Kampf was a lousy book, from a literary perspective. Few people could read that and still take him seriously.
No, banning them serves no purpose. The ability to read, listen to, and study them is how to learn why history happened, so that it won't happen again.
mein kampf is truly awful and you must never read it. his speeches are good. You can find neither anywhere though.

I don't believe in banning anything. At least a reasonable adult reading Mein Kampf should find a tragic sort of story about how someone came to be so self-righteous and hateful of people just based on a combination of popular cultural beliefs, scripture, self-delusion, and even personal pain. If someone reads Mein Kampf and says, "Fuck yeah," maybe we'll have some of those but they're as deluded as Hitler was, and hopefully they hardly represent the majority.
We need Hitler to be an example of what NOT to be. To be honest, I think a good portion of the people who point fingers at anyone who disagrees with them to decry them as nazis would probably agree with Hitler on many things like economic policy. He was pretty big on social programs after all.
Maybe they don't even agree with the whole Jews thing either but they are more than willing to apply a hierarchy like that in other contexts with other groups.
In university business school, I took a course on leadership and speech making. We studied some of Hitler's speeches; as vile and heinous as he was, he was a GENIUS orator and had his audience believing and waiting on his every word!

> We did it Patrick, we've beaten fascism.
Those who fail to heed history are doomed to repeat it.
That would amount to censorship. Who would decide what is censored and what is not?
We have to know what history says, otherwise it is censorship.
Should humans be allowed to have a mind of their own?
Make a poll on that instead.
No. This book is so hard to read that little people would finish it.
I wouldn't ban it but it should probably come with a mental health warning.
Best way to become an atheist: Read the bible.
Ban the anons! Oh wait..
If we ban history we will repeat it
