Do you think that the existence of several universes is credible?

I don't think it is credible, but I think it is plausible.
Look at it like this:
Suppose the speed of light is genuinely constant and that the universe is about 15 billion years old.
This anywhere in the universe, it is impossible to observe anything beyond 15 billion light-years (even if something was 30 billion light-years away - the maximum distance between any two points in the universe.
Now, suppose we say POINT_BB1 is the location in space where The Big Bang occurred. This means that nothing in the universe is more than 15 billion light-years from POINT_BB1.
However, suppose at the same time, 50 billion light-years in space, another Big Bang occurred creating another universe that resides in the same space as ours. We'll say this location is POINT_BB2. So, the distance between POINT_BB1 and POINT_BB2 is 50 billion light-years, but we already know that nowhere in the universe can we observe beyond 15 billion light-years. This means that it is impossible for us to detect that second universe... and no one in that second universe can detect us... at least not for another 18 billion years.
Let's try an analogy...
Imagine putting a toy boat floating in the water of your kitchen sink. The water is completely calm and the boat just sits there. You then drop a pebble into the water. Ripples occur as waves are made and the boat bobbles up and down. Even if no one saw you drop the pebble, if they were just watching the boat suddenly bobble up and down, they'd know something happened to create that wave.
Now, imagine your sink is 10 kilometers long. You are at one end of the sink and with your boat.
Your friend is 10 km away at the other end of the sink with her boat. She is only looking at her boat.
You both observe that the water is calm; neither boat is moving.
You drop your pebble.
YOUR boat experiences waves and bobbles up and down.
What about her boat?
Her boat will remain calm for a good long while until the waves from you dropping your pebble finally arrive at the other end of the sink and make her boat bobble. But, until that happens, she has no idea if you dropped the pebble or not. Why? Because you are so far away that she cannot observe the effects of your actions for a long time.
So, what this analogy shows is that things may exist or events occur, but, if we cannot observe them, we have no idea if they actually exist or not or have occurred or not.
Thus, it is plausible to have more than one universe, but it is so far away that we cannot observe it yet.
Too hard to tell. Keep in mind that until a few hundred years ago we didn't even know the solar system existed so is it a stretch to theorize that other universes do too? I wouldn't say that.
Guess it's not a matter of if we think they exist or not it's a matter of how willing we are to prove it either way
At this time, it is impossible to know and since apparently our universe is a black hole that even light cannot escape, perhaps it will always be impossible to know.

That is real astrophysics stuff. Not that I am one. But it would seem credible that their could have been more than one big bang singularity given one was possible. You would sort of have to ask why not if not.
Would the same laws of physics apply in these other possible Universes? It is impressive that particles are hypothesized as mathematically viable and subsequently found.
I did listen to one astrophysicist who did seem to think a multiverse was possible. But maybe there is an astrophysicist in the house who can shed light on this.
It's a language question rather than a science question. The word "universe" means "everything", and therefore it's impossible for there to be more than one, because anything that exists is, by definition, part of the universe.
It would make sense. If one universe can exist, why not more? There is nothing more uncomfortable for scientists than thinking we are "special", such as we living in the ONLY universe to ever exist. It might still be the case that this is the only universe but without knowing more we more or less assume that there are more universes out there.
Humans aren’t qualified to answer that question. We haven’t even left our solar system yet. Most of what we believe about exoplanets and stuff are just theories with no suggestive evidence.
Essentially, we’re just guessing and that’s it. We don’t know anything for now so this question is impossible for a human to answer.

Here's a picture of an exoplanet. exoplanets.nasa.gov/.../
Ageist ad hominem? Cool. Why don't you explain it to my poor old brain?
I realise now that you were talking about "what we believe about" them, not their mere existence (which is just one of the things we believe about them). Do you have any reason to doubt that they're going to be similar to the collection of planets we can observe more closely? Stars, after all, have turned out to be very similar to our Sun.
Yes. As I understand it, there are two different versions:
1. Universes with different "universal" constants appear all the time; many don't last, few are anything like our universe
2. There's a universe for every quantum event that happens, Schroedinger's cat style. I'm less convinced by that, but I suppose it could be.
Yes. Of course we are not God, so we can not know for certain. This goes two ways: we also cannot know it's not like that.
And some intuition will tell us it's more likely that they exist, than they don't.
Not particularly. It's theoretical and the evidence in support of the theory is very flimsy. It's not impossible, but it's also not likely.
It’s definitely possible. No telling all God has created
To some extent yes, Because there is visual proof but most is nasa propaganda.
can you answer my recent post, I would appreciate it.
Could be, but maybe not.
Trying to prove or disprove the existence of other universes is similar to trying to prove or disprove the existence of God, there is just no way to know.
let me go ask my doppelganger in Universe #12 ...
"Yep", he says.
It's an untestable hypothesis, nothing more than idle speculation.
nope. There is physical and there is spiritual. i don't believe there any other forms of existance.
What would it be called outside the universe? What would be that space called?
It may be possible but why worry about it? It's not like we're going to visit one
I do, why would there only be 1 universe, there isn’t one moon, one sun, one planet, etc so it wouldn’t make sense for there to be only one universe
Highly unlikely, although my science fiction writings use them.
It's about as likely as the existence of Australia.
It even has a wiki page! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bielefeld_conspiracy
Theories tend to suggest that, yes. We probably can't see it with our own eyes tho.
Personally, I believe it
Seems more strange to not. To me anyway.
Sure I suppose anything is possible?
And I Willa Lifty Ante Veil
We can never really know.
Probably multiple realities.
Not to me.
Most likely
