Gender neutral meaning men and women and everyone in between can share bathrooms

Is it cool if your son or daughter shares bathrooms at the mall with Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause? Do you trust them because of the Christmas spirit or do we have to learn to trust each other in general or nahhh it should never happen?

I think in a perfect world. We wouldn’t need to separate bathrooms at all really…. Unfortunately there is perverts and bad people. Who wouldn’t simply do their business and get out.

I am not for it really. If someone wants to make a gender neutral bathroom they could make it a single person or even if it was a multi person restroom. It’s better then having men using the woman’s bathroom or vice versa.

People want to point out the exception to the rule and not a hairy dude wearing a wig just to go in the woman’s bathroom no questions asked

The big danger, supposedly, is that people would be attacked. I'm against that. But there is NOT danger in mere proximity. Yes, you can be attacked if you're near to people who can attack you. Yes, it's more dangerous if you're less able to run away. But possession of physical power alters your perspective a little and makes you realize how silly that fear is. By sheer size and speed, I'm capable of clobbering the vast majority of the human race (individually, I mean). I don't. But I COULD, and people clearly see that I CAN (well, they see the size; the speed inevitably surprises them). There are, however, a great many people out there of a class called "soldiers" who are capable of not only resisting that, but overpowering and whupping ME. And that is NOT obvious; they look just like everyone else.

Fear is the mind-killer. A phrase from Dune, and a very interesting one, since it clearly states MIND, and not merely THOUGHT.

I'm fine with stall toilets being gender neutral but when it's an actual BATHROOM bathroom I would prefer to have it female/male. I'm fine with them being gender neutral too I guess but I draw the line at places like clubs, bars and pubs. I think maybe schools should have a mix of neutral, male and female toilets so you can choose whatever, same with universities. Public places like restaurants and cafes should have stalls or just female/male

The only one I was really in was in Boulder Colorado. Each stall was fully enclosed and the sinks were in the common area. If the stalls were not fully enclosed I’d be a little taken back. But I’ve also shared single bathrooms with girls while drunk. That’s fine with me. Just when you’re talking children and like older people…. That’s weird.

I'm fine with either. But I think we should be solving this issue based on what's best for people going to the bathroom and not for socio-political reasons. Don't change existing facilities just because.

It always weirds me out when people say "gender neutral bathrooms".. Its just a bathroom, as it was meant to be. Gender specific bathrooms are the weird specific ones.

Depends if their multi or single occupancy, if their single occupancy then I have no problem with them being gender neutral, if their multi occupancy than I'm against.
