In contrast DeSantis flat out said, "In Florida, we will not do any vaccine mandates". This directly contrasts company policy. Controlled opposition does what Biden did in that speech. They say, I hear your concerns and I agree with them... You were waiting for FDA approval. Well the FDA has approved the COVID vaccines. We've done what you asked because we heard your concerns and we're on your side. We've removed the danger. It's all clear now. Now take the vaccine it is mandatory. It's safe. 1) The Florida legislature writes the bills, not DeSantis. Governors just sign or veto bills. 2) Most of the language people find issue with, was not written by the current legislature. Often these are laws that are being amended by the current legislature which were created by previous legislatures working with other governors like Jeb Bush. They are adding the bits and bobs for the current situation, not throwing the entire law in the trash and rewriting the entire law from scratch. The enemies of America have been at this for over a century putting their touch on all the laws of the land to further their plans, and you want one man to turn around all of that in a couple years when he has to work with a mix of politicians across all parties, many of which are compromised to the deep state. He’s getting what he can get and marching forward. He’s not a dictator. He has to negotiate for every inch. So long as he keeps moving in the correct direction in opposition to the deep state then there is no reason to doubt the guy.

That said, you should keep an eye on the state legislature and keep their feet to the fire. Point out flaws and voice your concerns. Some will fight for you. Other's will blow you off and try to sell you on their special interests like bringing gambling to the state for extra tax revenue. Vote the trash out and find better leadership to replace them.
