Because the whole covid thing was so blown out of proportion that people forgot about all of the other issues that caused even more deaths.

When did you ever see the crawl under what you were watching that counted up how many of the over 660,000 cardiac deaths a year we were at on any given day.

Or cancer deaths, traffic deaths, suicides, drug over doses they were all sort of swept under the rug.

Many were just listed as covid deaths, but in reality they weren't.

Not saying that there was any conspiracy, or government agena involved.

Didn't anyone think it was odd that there were no flu deaths during covid, but strangely enough before the vid the regular good old flu has always caused a high death rate especially in older people with underlying health conditions, the same with pneumonia, which also has a high death rate.

It seems like all of those were lumped into covid deaths, when they really weren't.

I think/hope years down the road hopefully people much smarter than I will dig through and figure out the real facts.

Because covid was part or Sars, it also behaved much like it.

It continually morphed into different forms, hence all of the boosters and different covid variations.

As of today there still isn't a vaccine for sars.

I found it extremely odd that influenza all but vanished. I asked a board member at the hospital I used to work in, and the bluster and backpedaling was hilarious.

I find it interesting that when it became apparent that the Republicans were going to take the house, Fauci announced his retirement. Today was his last address to the nation, and he officially retires next month.

I tried to go on YouTube and find the clip I saw today, but I couldn't find it. One of the white house reporters attempted to ask Fauci what the origins of Covid was, and Karine Jean-Pierre had a meltdown. I thought a brawl was going to happen.
The truth is, Fauci is the director of the NIH, and they gave money to the company running the lab in Wuhan. And after all of this shit for the last two years, Fauci gave the same company more money about 6 months ago, but they are moving the lab to Thailand.
And the worst part of Fauci's last address, is that he told people that they need to get all their shots, boosters and testing, before the Holidays. He said that would help prevent spreading the virus to your family! He had a smug look when he said it, because he knows he's lying to the public. Even Pfizer and the CDC said that the vaccine does nothing to stop the spread of the disease.

He was also asked if he would cooperate with all the oversight hearings from the Republicans, and he said he's done that hundreds of times before, and will continue to do so.

He also explained today that some vaccines are effective for decades, if not a lifetime, but this one is just different. lol Yeah, it sure is. Especially when you're getting kickbacks from the drug companies.

Ignoring social media and looking in serious literature its still hard to get a answer. However, while interesting it seems just to be natural fluctuations in numbers rather than a government conspiracy to kill people. After all no one reports those years where fewer people die.
