Equality or equity? Both. They are not mutually exclusive and they both have their place. For example, there should be equity in things like getting food. Having people starving is simply unacceptable so no matter what food should always be readily accessible for everyone. For an example where equality is useful would be for example in education where you can provide the best foundation for every student and have them succeed as best they can beyond that.
Now, to apply this to the question of genders. Both being a feminist and knowing feminists I dont hear anyone saying anything differently from there being equity in fighting war. Either being all people serve equally or none serve depending on if the feminist is pro-war or anti-war but there is no distinction between genders either way.
Of course there are also cases where equality will produce different results. For example, abortion is a popular example to demonstrate how "unfair" the world is. If you give both men and women equal rights you will not necessarily have the same outcome hence why the right to bodily autonomy also extends to give women the right of abortion without having something equivalent for men. This does not mean men has less rights, just that they have fewer applications of the same rights.
So to sum it up, it depends on a case by case basis if equality or equity best fit a specific situation. Equity is often used to establish a minimum baseline, such as guaranteeing that no one is starving, where as equality is good at most other things.

You have your equality and equity mixed up. What we should have is EQUALITY of opportunity and EQUALITY of legal protection. EQUITY means equal outcomes, which is essentially Marxism. As Karl Marx said..."From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs". This is what feminism pushes, and it's why everyone today says feminism is a Marxist movement, and they are correct.
Equality is what we need... equal opportunity and equal treatment under the law. And the good news is... that's exactly what we have already.
I'm not a feminist, I am an egalitarian and I am against discrimination of all kind. This means that to me, it's not dependent on whether or not a woman or a man goes to war, what I care about is their strength and willingness to fight in combat. If a man and woman both have equal strength, then it should be impartial and both deserve an equal chance to fight.
If the woman is carrying a baby at the time of combat, especially in the later trimester, she will be physically weak and it would undoubtedly place the baby in her womb at risk. At this point, I would argue against having the woman fight in combat.
Not really a feminist, but even I can tell you that yes, they would want that. Women already do that. I want that.
I just don't want there to be a draft.

Yes, that is just an example of how the sexes differ and its a choice not a forced reality that women have to procreate (especially given the over population we already have)
The only real disadvantage for women is they are more likely to be taken out first as its an often common point made that female soldiers have to try harder than male ones to achieve similar status and so are likely to be better than the male counter parts and be a more chosen targetWhen you hear Equity what that means is Money. Equity in Black politicians mind is reparation nonsense.
What i think you mean is as simple as follow our Intelligent Design. Man as protector and fighter goes to war. Woman as soft and baby maker does those things.
the other way around. Equality is equal protection under the law and equal opportunities. Equity is expecting everyone to get the same thing.
