Of course it's a white woman saying that. 😆
Yet people get angry when I tell them that white women make me ashamed of being white.
Could be positions of power? They want to degrade the white man for things to be more equal?
Nah, they just got insane these days with all the stimulus they get from social media, addictions and the antidepressants they consume. They're not even rational.
... And THIS is why I don't teach in America.

And how, exactly, do white people talk, hmm?
No, really; I'm asking because white people in New York City speak way differently than people in Texas. White people in Texas speak way differently that people in Vancouver. White people in Vancouver speak way differently than people in London.
Hell, some white people speak fucking Spanish, or German, or French, or any number of other languages! So someone explain to me how teaching grammar is teaching students to "talk like white people."
Implying that white people all speak in a similar manner when it is not at all true is, in itself, a racist remark on behalf of that teacher. Not to mention ignorant.
Teaching a student proper grammar, however, is not racist. It's no different than teaching math, or science. It's simply a matter of teaching them what the actual rules are that have been established for that language. Nothing more.
Whether that student practices those rules, or speaks in the local vernacular, is entirely separate from knowing the facts.
What she is saying is that she doesn’t think minorities are smart enough to learn proper grammar without saying it.
@joeldalton With an average IQ one standard deviation below the average, there is a lot of truth to that. However, about 20 percent of blacks have average or higher IQs and can learn grammar. Also, about 20 percent of whites are one standard deviation below the average and have difficulty learning grammar. However, learning grammar is not solely based on a person's IQ as it is also based on their aptitude for learning language.
I can agree some words in the English language is outdated and we don't really use them in modern communication.
That makes sense, but no it's not racist to teach proper English.
There is far more important racial issues in school districts than claiming teaching proper English is racist.
For example as a new teacher in a predominantly minority school we are ridiculously less funded by the white schools in the same district.
7 total schools in the district. 3 black 4 white.
It takes almost 2 of the 3 black schools combined budgets to equal each of the white school budgets.
The teacher who i am currently assisting has been teaching here for many years.
When she first started the school it was mostly white. Slowly the school zone turned more black.
She said once the percentage of white children dropped to under 50% the following school year the budget fell to the other 2 minority schools budget.
Because the budget was so much lower, the raises became lower chasing away the good teachers, less pay for new teachers. Meaning lower quality teachers.
Lower quality equipment, text books, sport programs and so on and so on.
The budget comes from one pot in that district and it is up to the district to divide the budget to each school and they gave the majority to the 4 white schools and the rest to the 3 non white schools.
This was also done to my hs where i grew up by the district
" ... some words in the English language are outdated and we don't really use them in modern communication", however, that doesn't have much to do with proper grammar in my opinion. Archaic word usage or discussions about whether or not using "Irregardless" instead of "regardless" is improper, isn't really the crux of improper grammar, but rather, a different discussion.
If you're going to speak a language, or write it, doing it as best you can is a good thing. Does she think the same way about properly using EVERY language, or just ones used mostly by white people? This teacher has got some issues.
@loveslongnails ask her.
Lol omg straight jacket this lady needs.
The U. S. needs a universal language that ALL people can understand, and grammar is just one way to EDUCATE folks on the language lol. The proper way of speaking and writing it. Otherwise, I'd probably be more chaotic than it is now. A bit more.
Teaching someone about language and culture isn't being racist. DEMEANING someone or treating them as less than others because of their RACE is racist. How can someone not know the difference? ! L to the O to the L!
Lord oh lord. 🙄😔
Sorry, I pressed submit too soon and didn't check MY own grammar as I was too excited to post it! However, I meant that the WORLD (or "IT" would {"It'd"}) be more chaotic lol. Now I'M going crazy lol.
The simple fact is in an English class you're taught English grammar, In a German class, you're taught German grammar. English accepts you may have a dialect or an accent but that's different from grammar.
The truth is grammar has nothing to do with race but is a reflection of your intelligence. Society expects you to have mastery of your main language and rightly condemns those who couldn't be bothered to learn it as idiots. Does this teacher actually think anyone is going to employ someone who writes, " Me wood like 2 work 4u."
So ethnic minorities are not only not smart enough to use proper grammar, but even to build societies that would TEACH them proper grammar?
If you really believe this, then you have to believe that white people actually ARE superior to everyone else. If that's the case, then why exactly would "white supremacy" be a bad thing?
Here's a hint: if you're opposed to racism, but find David Duke cheering on what you say, take some time to revisit your words before you continue speaking.
Accents and grammar are heavily influenced by local culture in any given area. Having a one size fit all way of talking will take away a lot of our humanity.
This playlist really breaks down accents and dialects and how it shaped cinema and even learn the history they inspired from.

The teacher that I did my student teaching with before said that having word problems in math is racist because it requires the students to be able to read and understand English.
He is stupid and thinks most things are racist. He also hid the American flag in a cabinet instead of having it displayed which is required. He also didn't have the class do the Pledge of Allegiance.
If I learn Russian, German, Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish, Japanese or any other language I would want to speak properly and correctly. Just because English is a language from a white country doesn't mean that only white people can speak it well. I've heard, Indians, and Africans speak that proper clipped Kings English well. It is more a sign of laziness and ignorance to not speak a language well.
What piece of fuck said that? I hope she gets the death sentence because of a grammatical error in her court ruling. And I hope a grammatical error also leads it to be by beheading instead of the lethal injection.
Full disclosure: I am neither white nor a supremacy supporter.
To the leftists, “white supremacy” = white. There’s no distinction in their minds. If we didn’t live in a clown world, the principal would watch this, march to her room, and tell her to pack her shit. But she’s likely in the union, and the principal is just as much of a twat so as a result hundreds of American children will be dumber than their foreign counterparts.
Not all white supremacists are white. If you don't believe me, just ask. Larry Elder.😁
As a linguistics teacher, she should know that the words "white supremacy," "misogyny," are neologisms made up by inferior people to describe their view of reality.
Language is supposed to be a way that humans can verbally communicate with one another. Letting everyone have their own language sort of defeats the purpose.
no, grammar's grammer, maybe there's some element of conforming to the dominant speech code sure but really?
Is she suggesting that we ought to, return to monkey as the kids would say it, so that... what? Someone's feelings don't get hurt?
This just goes to show you that someone can get traction on social media no matter how stupid they are.
I would argue that ignoring correct grammar is racist.
It's Marxist ridiculous ideology. How are you ruling by having your own language?
Well she’s a dumb ass so… 😛
Should be fired.
