Yes. But I also think that there should not be a gender division in the first place. If you have an athletic competition for who is the "best in the world" at something then I think that literally everyone should be able to fight for that title. If you want to have additional tournaments besides that, such as the paralympics that has arbitrary requirements defined by the organizers then that is also fine but the "main" tournament should be no-holds-barred. I would even be fine with loosening the restrictions on performance enhancing drugs as long as it could be demonstrated that it does not negatively impact their health.

Guess the women have to work harder or smarter then. There can only be one who is best in the world, everyone else can only try harder next time.

I mean that’s how it is now. No one really things Serena Williams can take on Nadal. But doesn’t mean Serena hasn’t done amazing things

No one really thinks that I could beat either of them either. Does not mean that the tournaments should actively prevent me from participating if I want just because I personally dont have a chance to win. That goes against the very spirit of being an athlete.

I don't care about this at all unfortunately so it's hard to say yes or no. I'm more concerned about real problems not sports. I wish I don't care was an option because this doesn't affect me whatsoever. I don't have an opinion on this because it's just isn't important to me. Only staying this here if that's of value to know there isn't always a yes or no to someone's opinion. If not my apologies.

I’m actually not Republican or Democrat. The only reasons I care about this is 1, I’m in medical school and treating people by their gender instead of sex is becoming increasingly problematic. And 2, sports is a really big deal to a lot of people who work really hard to achieve amazing things so to turn it over to XY chromosomes people is to turn sports back into a boys club
