I'm fine with that, but to be fair the Leftist is on tape talking about distributing sex toys to children, while Gaetz is alleged to have engaged in prostitution, paid someone, who later paid an underage woman (if I'm not mistaken)- I don't have visibility on the timing of these transfers, but at this point even IF he did engage in prostitution, that isn't proof that he actually slept with an underage prostitute (money is fungible).

I'm an actual conservative and don't believe that behavior is moral, nor befitting of a public official. I know this opens a can of worms bc the first reaction will be "well, but Trump did..." I don't care. Just like the Athenian Democracy we elect leaders who are fit to address the emergency of the time, before removing them when it has been resolved. There is an emergency in the West, and unfortunately it's a pompous, arrogant, playboy who was viewed as the best to resolve it- he was not wholly successful.

I'm not sticking up for him (Gaetz)- if he did wrong he should be prosecuted, but I'm not going to pretend the lukewarm Republican party is the immoral party. Any observer can clearly see the lions share of those who have acted immorally (including prostitution, e. g. the Kennedy's, Clinton, etc.), and now those who are sexualizing children (and are sicko perverts generally) are the Democrats.
