If Muslims are supposed to give charity and free food to the hungry, why are Somalia people starving to death?

The people of Somalia are starving (well, chronically malnourished) because of insane government corruption and crushing poverty coupled with periodic natural disasters that the country isn't stable enough to prepare for. What, exactly, is the average Muslim in the street supposed to do about that? Give to a charity for famine relief? Great- but then the dictators seize the incoming food and resell it, which doesn't help the hungry, and only depresses local food prices, hurting the farmers even more.

It's just another religion; Muslims aren't superheroes.

I mean, Christians are supposed to help the hungry too- Jesus even specifically said "Whatsoever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me". I don't see THEM lining up to fix Somalia. I didn't see them lining up to help Ireland in the 1840's, either, and THAT country had death rates that make modern Somalia look like a paradise at a time when they were shipping thousands of tons of food overseas EVERY SINGLE DAY. Humanity, all too often, sucks; religion can help, or it can make things worse. It usually does both. But it's hardly fair to single out Muslims.

If you're actually asking how the pillar of charity (I think it's called zakat, but I may be confusing that with something else) works, you'd need to consult a Muslim; fortunately, I don't think we're lacking for them here.

What's the economic status of "Muslims"? And what efforts have you made to see if there are any attempts to bring resources to these people? Are their limitations? Is there another group of people the "Muslims" are helping?

What responsibility do they have that Christians or jews or wicans do or do not have to feed these people?

Where are the "Muslims" located in relation to these impoverished and unfortunate people?

My longest crush was a Muslim girl, but the majority of them are not good people. They're only cool if you agree with them. I have one girl from Turkey I still talk to on a personal level, but other than that, I don't bother with Muslims anymore, because I've had too many issues, because we always end up getting into an argument.

Yeah, I've had Muslims even girls on this website tell me that violence is justified to defend their honor, because Christians have gotten soft and no one respects them. But they are hypocrites. But if they're gonna do that they shouldn't be surprised that people hate them

I surprised myself even, but when I first met her she wasn't wearing hijab and was having sex and wasn't politically correct. Though she still attended church with her Christian friends, but now it's probably a good thing she ghosted me, because we could never be in a relationship anyways.

I was surprised North African girls love East Asian men. That Moroccan girl who called me a racist, I told her, "Why do you love Asians then? They would treat you like shit in their countries."

Maybe I'm a hypocrite because I don't like White women dating interracially, but White men dating brown girls is fine. I'll admit, it's because when a White woman dates another race, I see it as an insult, like we're not good enough. But when a Brown girl dates a White man, I see it as an honor as it reinforces my notion that White men are superior to other races.

Maybe that's fucked up, but that's how I feel.
