It was founded in the 1820s but a black governor only came into power 20 years after and then America didn't recognise its independence until another 20 years later.

But anyways, I think reparations is a very slippery slope because paying back one thing will just cause a domino effect. I'm from the UK, we'd go broke trying to pay off the reparations we owe to the world. Yes, we've got jewels and museum artefacts that weren't obtained legally that could be given back, and we've caused SO much death around the world not just during the colonial period but also after in the instability we caused leading to more instability. We have the voluntary joining of the Commonwealth sure and I have no idea if we've issued formal apologies and things? But for now, I think just continuing charities and foreign aid into countries we wrecked is a good step, there are people who want to reduce the foreign aid to focus on the problems inwards and I agree slightly but I think it's a bit of karma/penance to pay it outwards

Plus, it wouldn't just be the UK, it'd be Spain, Portugal, France, the Netherlands, anyone who did any form of colonialism/slavery/genocide and that'll take a lot of time since it seems most countries have done something that warrants repayment

Socialism has nothing to do with reality... They start violent revolutions by blaming some random group of people for other people's problems. If the government can get them to fight each other, then no one will look at the government's failures and a power vacuum can be created. Then they encourage the "victim class" who has been programmed via propaganda to attack the target class. Robbery, scapegoating, murder, etc. are all encouraged. It doesn't matter what is true for them. They are just blood thirsty thieves.

I think any person would want free money, that's not so unusual. But the worst part is that there are morons who actually want to give it to them. Some people won't to hear this, but the fact of the matter is, that throughout their entire existence, black people have relied on handouts from other people do survive. They've never strived to take initiative themselves, and nothing has changed.
