Police are scumbags, criminals in uniform.
In fact, they are worse than criminals, because at least criminals don't pretend to be the good guys.
Anyone who swallows that BS about them "serving" and "protecting" the public are delusional and naive. Try paying attention to the news.
There is this nonsense rhetoric whenever they get caught by witnesses or on camera - "oh, but they're just a bad apple". No, the whole bunch is rotten to the core. Any good cop is an exception, one good apple in a barrel full of rotten ones.
They are arrogant scum, strutting around like they think they are John Wayne.
They are not your friends. They are not benevolent, they are violent. They are vicious animals, protected by the state.
I stand up and applaud when one of them gets what they deserve.
You seriously believe police are saintly heroes? Wake up and read the news. They are disgusting, violent, lying, scum. These tyrants commit assault everyday on the general public and enjoy hurting people. That's why they became cops.

It's the police that make it an us vs them situation with their hostile behaviour toward the public.
Yes, in a court of law the judge will always side with the police scumbags, despite the evidence that they lie repeatedly. That's why you should always film them when dealing with you, and why they will try to tell you that you're not allowed to film them (another lie). Imagine if the videos above had not been recorded, no one would have believed these victims of police brutality,.
Prove that 100% of cops are criminals as you claim
@MysteriousDarkness First - I didn't claim that 100% of cops are criminals. I said.. "Any good cop is an exception" so that can't be 100%. As a collective, they are criminals in uniform.
Second - I don't need to prove anything to you. I couldn't give a rat's ass what you think.
Third - Did you even bother to read the links or watch the videos?
They are an asset as I grew up with a father, learning to follow rules, punishment and consequences, respect for elders, teachers, and authority figures. I followed societies order to get educated, get job, pay the bills, save, and have buy my own possessions.
Cops uphold the system of society and protect rights, safety and order. Cops are good in that regard.
If you grew up in "the hood" with minimal resources or without rules, you reject societies rules of behavior, you make your own rules, then cops are the enemy because they get in the way of you living the way you see as right.
...
Our society has disintegrated into "victimhood" mentality and there is no sign yet of recovering.
Candace Owns is an excellent resource for understanding the issue. It is not one of color, but of culture [emotional training], upbringing/environment.
ALL of the cops I've known or met in passing were decent people. But if you push any human being, put them under stress... you will get bad results. Some corrupt sub-cultures have created the mess we've got now in greater society.
I've never been in trouble with the law, nor has anyone in my direct family, but in situations where I needed to call the cops, there has always been hesitation. I know good cops. I have friends and family who are cops, but the way certain people or communities are treated by cops is the reason people hesitate to call. You can only hope you'll get a good cop who arrives, cares, treats you like a decent person, and handles the situation appropriately, but you can't know for certain what you'll get. And I get it. The burn goes both ways right. If you're a cop, you may have tried to be and do your best, but then the person you were helping treated you unfairly or tried to say you were doing things you weren't (hence body cam footage these days). I don't consider them my enemy but certainly not a complete asset either. There is no one who has the level of power that they do, as in the ability to literally lock you up and take you away for life, that I would ever say I completely trust with that level of power because it has clearly been abused by some officers.
Asset
Black Americans don't call 911 cuz they are predominantly uneducated, ignorant, etc. like the 8 little black whores - ages 13 to 14 - that murdered some homeless guy in Toronto yesterday. News isn't saying it but that area is rife with black crimes & thugs.
And I say that as someone who was born in Africa - came here to better myself just as my colleagues from Nigeria did - and see so many sitting on the street curb drunk, drugged out of their minds & generally leeching off of welfare rather than contribute.
By the way that shit "white privilege" doesn't exist.
If it did NOBODY colored - Black, Asian, Indian, etc. - would have a job making more than 20,000 a year but comically some big names in the music or sports industries as easy examples are NOT white. Comically there are business CEOs or CFOs who make 150,000 to 400,000 a year who are NOT white. Comically there are computer science, engineering & medical professionals making 100,000+ a year who are NOT WHITE.
Having white privilege doesn’t mean that only white people possess nice things or have a nice job.
It means that white people don’t need to overcome as many obstacles as minorities to reach a goal. Whether that be a job, career, go to a nice school, live in a safe community, etc.
@BlackBeauty90 what’s with the insults? I didn’t insult you.
You said that if white privilege exists then nobody colored wouldn’t have a job that pays more than $20,000 a year. That’s not necessarily true because that’s not what white privilege means.
It doesn’t mean that all nice things belong to only white people or white people don’t work hard for what they have. White privilege is differences that minorities face to get a good job, get into a better school, or live in a safe community compared to how a white person would gain all of those same things.
When white person wants to go to a safe and successful school all the need to do is go down their block. When a minority needs to go to a safe and successful school they need to catch a bus or ride a subway across the city. Most minorities do not have access to private tutors, both parents at home, live in a redlined neighborhood, etc. all of those differences is what white privilege is. White people don’t ever face discrimination inside of the US, that’s a privilege.
@snowboarder720 As a mixed woman, I have recieved racism from all colors. Yes, even black people. All because I have some white blood inside of me, because I should only date the "Brothers" of my race. So yes, white people do sometimes face discrimination inside of the U. S. I may not be fully white, but some black people have a problem with me because I'm not fully black.

An asset, full stop. I challenge anyone who thinks otherwise to name one successful anarchist country. Scratch that, name one anarchist country to exist EVER?
A nation with laws needs a force capable of upholding them, that's not up for debate in my eyes 🤷♀️ Even fringe communities that refused to abide by the customs of the people they originated from themselves quickly built these sort of institutions. Pirates, for example.
And for those that argue that police can be tyrannical, that situation does not exist in a vacuum. A 'police' force that gets to that point can only do so if the higher government allows it, in which case they no longer fall under the actual definition of police, rather the propagators of a dictatorship or authoritarian state. These examples aren't police, instead being a loose military occupying their own land.
Individuals do not define a system.
That may be true, but it doesn't make their argument for doing so valid on paper. People are emotional beings, and are liable to do things against their own interests if they have been convinced (even by themselves if not someone else) that it's the best option
People don't just call the police for help and get gunned down themselves, yet some people see that as a legitimate threat. It doesn't make it so 🤷♀️
The vast majority of police in western countries are decent people who are putting their own lives at risk to keep the peace. They have to make split second decisions to prevent suspects from harming others and themselves.
With that said there will ALWAYS be the wrong people in the wrong profession unfortunately. And when a cop screws up it gets plastered all over the news creating this bs exaggerated paranoia.
People who support law enforcement do NOT support unjustified shootings and killings of innocent civilians. We are all for prevention of that crap and the victims deserve justice. But this ass backward anarchic “defund the police” has only enabled violent criminals to get worse with impunity. And it’s directly impacting vulnerable communities particularly minority communities.
That doesn’t excuse the extremely asinine message of the phrase or the stupid people who thought it up that slogan and propagated it. At least use something more practical like “reform” the police vs. “defund” the police.
Also the media is exponentially to blame for propagating false narratives and lies as well. I notice that CNN only brings up race in police shooting incidents when the victim is black and the cop is white. As if every single time a white cop shoots a black suspects it is completely and solely about racism. As if the other facts of the incident have no bearing on exactly how that went down.
Then droves of people just eat up the “racist” cop theory. Ironic thing is that racism was NOT brought up during the Derek Chauvin trial despite that angle would likely benefit the prosecution. Reason why? Despite the fact that Chauvin was clearly a shithead cop (yes 12 complaints against him) there was no substantial evidence that he had clear racial bias during his tenure on the force. Sure he had a history of excessive force (not okay). Yet there was no evidence he explicitly targeted African Americans. If George Floyd was white and everything went down the way it did I have no doubt Chauvin would of did the same thing to him (which was wrong). But it would of never made national news. The mass media has an explicit interest in the “race” narrative. If you don’t believe than google the name “Tony Timpa”. He died an eerily similar way George Floyd but no one ever talked about him. When you see him you will know why.
Anyway the worse thing about all of this is crime rates are shooting up in at risk areas thanks to the disparaging attitude towards police. In aggregate more minorities are being murdered because violent criminals feel more emboldened. But when you are a well off white liberal it’s easy to criticize the police and yet live in a low risk neighborhood.
Until cops stop murdering black people in broad daylight and continue with no knock search warrants that end in killing black people, cops are absolutely racist.
Racism doesn’t exist in police reports. The cops will never charge one of their own with racism. They control everything that is on their record. So saying “Derek Chauvin isn’t racist because he doesn’t have evidence of targeting blacks” is because you’re only looking at what his department allowed to be on his record meanwhile he was out patrolling the streets and publicly executed George Floyd in broad daylight. If there wasn’t as many protesters demanding justice he’d still be free living his life without consequences which speaks how much racism is inside of that whole department too.
@snowboarder720 you know just keep on protesting, rioting, demonizing all cops and making prejudice assumptions about every single police interaction where there is black suspect and a white cop. Just burn down the Wendys where Rayshard Brooks was shot after he resisted arrest, stole a taser from a cop and shot one with with it. Just assume the a cop is expected to make a split second Superman decision to do what Joe Biden said to “shoot them in the leg”. Never take a step back and look at the facts of every single incident. Just assume it is and always about racism. Defund the police. Fuck the police.
Also let’s pretend this won’t have any impact on the morale of police departments were good cops quit and talented recruits don’t want to sign up. Let’s pretend this isn’t emboldening violent criminals to get more aggressive since they know cops are scared to interact. Let’s pretend that domestic violence and homicide rates aren’t climbing up in inner city neighborhoods which disproportionately harming minority communities.
I’m not justifying or saying that buildings need to be burned down. There needs to be a change. Pointing fingers everywhere else but the people in blue is the worst thing to do. Police need to take accountability of their own actions including murders. Nothing about choking out black people is a split second Superman decision. Their last words are “I cannot breathe”. Meanwhile the cops are taking selfies with their coworkers. Seriously until the police start holding each other accountable for their own wrong doings (which has never been done), there are NO GOOD POLICE OFFICERS.
It’s only until protesting happens is when “oh, maybe the cop did murder the suspect and had no justified cause”. For real though. Quit playing the victim, if cop’s can’t handle the job they can quit. Meanwhile black people are lynched for the color of their skin, it’s not like it’s a uniform that they put on for work.
Blue Lives Matter only exists because there’s a Black Lives Matter. There has ALWAYS BEEN SUPPORT FOR THE POLICE. That’s why there’s police departments with millions in budget.
It’s not the police to solve domestic situations but it’s their job to apprehend criminals. So don’t say that it’s their responsibility to handle domestic abuse.
Good cops are to be cherished, because vigilence is the eternal price of liberty. Due to the lack of knowledge of how to be vigilant and diligent, too many lazy souls have enabled traitors and the corrupt to the highest seats.
They stripped away acknowledgement of our rights to the Militia of the Whole, and made us dependent on police agencies.
Now, they work tirelessly to infiltrate agencies with bad actors, and similarly infiltrate courts with bad actors, who replace agents of integrity.
Good cops and judges get weeded out slowly, as whole courts and departments become infested with the unscrupulous.
Clown World justice becomes inevitable, until the vigilance of the whole is restored, and the unscrupulous up high are deposed.
Sheriff and City Police, no matter how bad or good, are the only defense the Citizenry has. When the day comes that the ATF, FBI, Homeland Security, weaponized IRS, and/or other criminals enter your house the only recourse none weapon owners have is 911 and local law enforcement.
Unfortunately, the local police will be aware of Federal action and jurisdictional issues therein.
You think it is bad now, wait until Bloc controlled electric car travel and policing is mandated. Bribe the police searching the houses on annual inspection to overlook certain items. Travel employees processing and favorited required financial contribution. It’s going to be tough on set dollars and food subsidies to make the numbers work. Freedom has Costs.
as a black woman, i get so nervous around cops. I have a bad history with them showing up (crazy mom and dad) an awful lot, and to make it worse, reading the news about random black people being killed. Doesn't make me feel safe when I should feel safe when i'm by cops.
On the other hand, cops wink and usually like me, so it's just a fear i need to get over and I also know not all cops are the same.
I shouldn't have to explain myself to the people disagreeing and disliking this, but here goes.
so, i now understand all the times my mother got arrested in front of me was for a reason. But when you're 3 years old and you see your mom and dad getting arrested, you understand the cops are there to beat the bad guys but you don't understand how your own mother could be a bad guy. Now when I see cops, all i can think of is them asking me if I'm living in a safe environment and i get flashbacks of my mother getting arrested and being in jail for a week at a time, which happened frequently. I've tried to make myself comfortable with cops, but does anyone really truly feel comfortable around people with power? Anybody with power can get away with hurting you, and that's what scares me the most. If i call out, i'll be denied or ignored or people won't believe me. sooo yeahhh...
All of your feelings are completely valid.
I want you to know that there are people who will absolutely believe you when you speak up and speak out. Black women are extremely valuable in society. It’s unfortunate that they are vulnerable to so much hate. You have allies who will stand with you. You absolutely matter.
The cops need to do a better job in keeping us safe. We need the cops, but they're abusing their power. It isn't right how people of color are afraid of the people who are supposed to protect them because they aren't white
As a black woman I consider them an enemy. Where I live the police is full of racists and xenophobes who support a far right party. A group of journalists made a report to expose their racism and of course they said they were being attacked.
And NO, I DON'T live in the US.
I have read about this in the black community. Not that it was surprising. But yes, it seems there’s a culture that says it’s ok to hassle blacks. A cop here in tx just got 12 years for killing a gmother in her own house.
Unfortunately that's all true and it doesn't happen only in the US. It happens in every country where black people are a minority.
That's unbelievable! Stories like that make me feel scared.
Good cops are an asset, bad cops are an enemy.
In the USA you are 3 times more likely to be killed by a cop than a terrorist.
https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/news/hsph-in-the-news/blacks-whites-police-deaths-disparity/
No other country has such a problem.
3 times more likely if you’re doing something criminal
@WhiteBoyChill Very true. Not that there aren't bad cops, but chances aare if a cop is going to hurt you or kill you, they will only do it when they feel threatened. And yes, they will feel reasonably threatened. Most people really don't like to hurt or kill someone unless they have to to protect themselves. As a mixed-race woman in a small town in the Midwest, I have seen other sides of cops. Most get a little power strong, but never to the point to where they would hurt someone. Again, there are bad people and cops for every occasion, but most people don't kill or hurt others on purpose. Especially cops. Maybe you should look at the percentage of black on black killings. If you're going to bring race into the topic, why don't you look at those statistics. The black people that police kill typically have had some sort of harsh criminal past. Black Lives Matter and the whole police situation is a scam. People take false statistics to scare the nation so people will rely more on national government. But, enough with my rant. Most police officers are just trying to help you folks.
How many police officers are there and how many active terrorists are there? You can't in good faith compare a population of hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions, to a population of hundreds, maybe thousands.
Also how many of those killed by police happened to be committing a crime when it happened? Compared to terrorists who almost by definition target innocents
@JennaWillow So now police officers are terrorists? When we look back at all of the school shootings, shootings in general, and terrorist attacks, thousands have died. Possibly hundreds of thousands a year. Compared to right about 1,800 police shootings a year.
Also, serial killers could even be considered terrorists to their own country. Think about how many serial killers there are in the U. S. More than you can count, so there are many active terrorists.
@Amarasimmons7 I never said police are terrorists? All I did was bring up the disparity in how many police officers there are compared to how many terrorists.
Serial killers aren't domestic terrorists, their motives are completely different. Mass shooters/murderers are, however. Still, the number of traditional terrorists plus mass shooters/murderers pales in comparison to the number of police officers, so a disparity of only 3 to 1 shows both how most terrorists have a body count far higher than just one or two, and how the vast majority of police have never taken a life. That was the point I was trying to make
@WhiteBoyChill Read the report, you fucking jackass, don't just talk out your ass after reading only the title.
Also, "killed by a cop" usually means that person was unlawfully killed without/before trial. Hence it's facetious to claim "doing something criminal" when the whole premise of the justice system is "innocent until proven guilty in a court of law"
I find it strange how you’re telling me I should learn to read better when the article you posted doesn’t even support your point.
It said blacks are 3x more likely to be killed. Not that cops are 3x more likely to kill you than a terrorist.
And I find it strange how you come up with your own definitions for things. Killed by a cop means exactly that, killed by a cop.
@WhiteBoyChill True, true.
Well here we thankfully mostly have good police officers, sure they're always some black sheeps but it seems like it's not that many.
So I do see police as the good one🙏🏼 And we definitely have way less racism than in america! ... no wonder black people call less the police for help over there
I wish they were an asset. I haven't called the police very many times. When I have, I wish I hadn't. They do help some people. Probably a lot of people. But there's also a lot of people they don't help. So far, I happen to be the latter. But they haven't hurt me at least, so I can't complain too much.
I think it depends on where a person comes from and how they grew up. From my experience they are an asset to society not an enemy but I never had problems with the law and I haven't been on illegal demonstrations or did drugs...
I don't think they are innocent or holy they are humans, too. They also make mistakes though their public figures rarely apologise.
American cops are some of the worst in the world. America has the highest number of people in jail out of any country including China and India. Roughly %1 of Americans are in jail right now. How can it be the land of the free when %1 are definitely NOT free?
Necessary nuisance. We obviously need some sort of order in society, and while I don’t agree with a lot of the rules they aren’t the ones making them. Sometimes I wish they find more productive uses for their time than harassing car enthusiasts, but what can you do 🤷♂️
Asset, you all need police for home burglaries and domestic violence calls and welfare checks yeah some people are lazy and some are bad apples doesn't mean all officers are bad. If someone took your child first person your calling is 911 to make that report so stop playing like you all don't need the police.
@blackbeauty90 blocked me but here's my response, Are you this ignorant? Lol really can you not comprehend Canada and the US share a border. With a Prime Minister & the other has a President with different rules and laws, so with your daft logic Everything I'm Asia is the same & everything In Africa and Europe is the same too hahahaha all 7 continents everyone living in them all is one right? Hahahahahahaha that third world education did you wonders huh Hahahahaha!!! I win 🏆 😎 🙌
They are just public employees. Nothing more, nothing less
Obviously depends on who is giving them their orders. The police are a local standing army and like any other army they can be used both advantageously and oppressively.
Many big city governments are soo lacking in electoral accountability their leaders are often incompetent and a bit oppressive. So of course their army of enforcers Police may reflect that fact.
Many pigs are enemy. If they’d be there for safety, they’d have little payment. They therefore need to bully innocents in order to get a lot of gelt and have the innocent bystanders as an excuse. How about stop taxing us on animal testing and meats and give the gelt to good honest constables?
Cops are an asset but they are not worth their cost. People would receive far more value and be much better served if they paid for private police organizations. Private police is what the rich and powerful have for themselves.
I have never had problems with the police and I’m a colored expat.. but then again I live in Europe not America.
Cops are an asset. I know literally hundreds of cops. Over 99% of them are people who want to serve their communities. People that have issues with cops usually have it coming.
the two frowny faces says everything you need to know about our society right now...
@lightbulb27 this is Bidens America. The law is mostly just a suggestion.
There are obviously some bad cops, but the vast majority are good public servants who risk their lives every day. As whole, the police force in the US is an asset. We as a society would be it a world of hurt without them. Anyone who disagrees is an idiot.
Depends on the cops. There are shady cops who take advantage of their position in power and then there are good cops just trying to do their job and jeep others safe.
If I need help an asset if I'm bending the law an enemy. They're an assemy
In my area they are a waste of time. You’d get more help calling the fire dept for everything.
haha I might just know them all. (Don’t ask)
If you don't do nothing wrong, cops will leave you alone
?
If you obey the law, cops won't bother you one little bit.
What do you mean "anyone"?
That’s untrue. Police profile people on a daily basis. When they do they have excuse like handing out a gift card, making up their own excuses to bother you, etc.
They lie about search warrants too. They can break into your own home without notice if they really want. So it’s not true that “oh just don’t break the law” because that’s ignorant.
@snowboarder720 works for me and my family and friends
Sounds like someone who doesn’t have any non white friends…
@snowboarder720 my friends range in color from snow to tar and a lot are from foreign countries too. My x boyfriend Kenya is as black as coffee. When we played hide and seek he'd just turn out the light
@Bratsondanielle ignorant comments can still be made when you have friends or ex boyfriends of different races. If you don’t understand the ignorance in “don’t do anything wrong, cops will leave you alone” then you don’t understand another cultural mindset than your own. How you manage that after claiming to be around a wide variety of people is beyond me. I find it interesting how you’re coming off as defensive.
@snowboarder720 well, I can guarantee you my x boyfriend would tell you exactly the same that I told you. After he did that, he'd probably give you a good lecture about not playing victim and tell you to help your homies in life instead of holding them back
It’s really interesting how every ignorant comment I read on here seems to come from someone who claims that all of their friends belong to the group that they comment about. Like it’s some kind of justification for their ignorance. Let alone speaking on their behalf and using them to amplify your own ignorance. I can see how you don’t see the irony of leaving these ignorant comments and not seeing another perspective than your own or what your friends say. It’s interesting how white people see nothing wrong with using friends/boyfriends who belong to another race to denounce the other race’s issues. I can’t say I’ve learned anything new, I’m done with you.
90% of the time an asset. 10% an enemy.
And if Blacks never call 911, that is dumb. It's like the people who never get the vaccine because they wrongly believe they have a good chance of dying from the vaccine. In fact, it is very low, just as is Blacks getting killed by cops.
Problem is they don't reach house on time
Don't live on every block needs to change
More need to live in the ghetto too
I had to say asset, because I do enjoy those Police Academy movies :) :P
And the poll results are at this point of time in commenting are showing just that, that asset is winning as the poll result, at timestamp of comment here. 👍
There is a need for them and individually I haven’t had any problems with them. But as a whole I don’t trust them. Especially the feds.
I think the majority are an asset but, here in the U. S., there are definitely enough bad apples who use excessive force and have discriminatory motives that it casts suspicion on them all.
No problems here in Germany. I think I only had one encounter with an asshole cop.
In whatever country you are from and you believe all police officers are good then prove it. On the flip side if you believe they are bad then prove it.
cops are cowards and have no place in a civilian world
Next time your house gets broken into, call a crackhead. See how that works out.
hey are certainly better than self-righteousness. tho they could do with a LOT of more training in order to serve the public adequately.
the people who scribble "ACAB" over the walls are usually people who fail to obey the law, so of course they're gonna have problems with the cops.
Case by case basis some are here to help some are there to kill and its the bad apples that need to be terminated
Mostly cops either don't show up or when they do show up they make things worse. There are very few instances when cops will actually make a bad situation better for anybody.
Kept traffic diverted so nobody rear ended me when my car broke down in the middle of the road.
They are both but in most situations I am not going to call the cops unless I have to because they tend to make situations worse.
Very tough call. I guess overall, pigs are a net asset... but only slightly. Still best to avoid them. And NEVER talk to them or answer questions.
An assest. A cop changed my tyre last week. Lovely man, black lad too. He was happy to help.
in the big city where i grew up i never had a problem but going into rural towns you tend to stick out like a sore thumb but it can be or
Asset assume they are good cops trying their best to do the best job they can to keep the community safe.
In the country I live in there are the assets of a few, and the enemy of many.
I would say they can be both a necessity and a nuisance
Clearly they're an asset on balance. A world without cops would be a complete and utter shit show.
African-Americans better start snitching, or else they going to jail for a long time.
If you're white they're an asset (most of the time) but they can still be assholes.
They can be an asset, but the training makes them unreliable.
A combination of both asset and enemy but based on my experience, theyre the second option
I consider police more an asset. But there's been too, some corrupt ones.
I am pro cob. If I see people complaining are drug dealers and people who break the law
Cop*
Asset all the way. Take em down bruno.
Most cops are amazing people
An asset for the most part.
An asset who sometimes is an ass!
Fuck the police they are not your friends.
Definitely an asset!
So now what do you say
An asset
