Follow up to my previous question: Why do people bully?
I want to make it clear that bullying is never the victim's fault. What we are discussing are the FACTORS that can make someone more likely to become a potential target for bullies.
To keep the conversation more interesting don't mention physical difference. Height, skin tone, ethnicity, visible disability etc are very obvious reasons so for this question let's suppose those answers don't count.
Humans, on a large scale, are wary and judgmental of everything that appears or feels different, out of place. Some people are just very insecure about others that are different from them, & some like to treat those people differently to try to deal with that insecurity.
People are cruel and unempathetic. I'll never understand
Jealously, revenge over petty shite, insecurities: both major & minor, wanting to feel a momentary egoboost of false superiority, control issues, person is just an asshole who gets a high off of treating people like shite, false sense of strenthgth & control, taking stress & frustration out on other people, they enjoy intimidating people, they wanna seem tough... etc.
Because people hate their own lives and want to make others as miserable as they are most of the time.

if were not talking looks stuff, there's being unpopular, not liked, being a slut/dressing slutty, being weird, being poor/parents being poor, being gay, being very shy and socially ackward, being a doormat

Start looking at the publidhed results of various studies on this subject.
Because the bullies are scum, plain and simple. It is NEVER the victim's fault. Period.

Realistically they were weak, an easy target or because they know it would get to someone else or the wild card just asshats.
Because they are soft. Bullies can identify who to mess with and not to mess with.
