Why are women the ones who are scared of walking alone at night eventhough statistically men have a higher rate of getting assaulted than women do?

It’s because women are physically more vulnerable. Men are obviously stronger in general.

Although many way over-estimate most men’s ability to actually defend themselves, especially those who’ve never trained in any kind of martial art or combat sport. Even then, there’s no jiu-jitsu move to defend against a knife or a gun.

Because it is scary lol when i have a guy walking behind me i usually slow down so he can get in front of me since I don't like men walking behind me. But in those tense few minutes you have to wonder is he going to attack me, am I gonna have to slit a mf's throat? lol but then they walk by and you are fine... I don't think men go through that, do you?

Not nearly to the same degree as you do. Sure we avoid dangerous situations and at times can wonder if we will have an encounter but we get a more secure mind in most common situations

Me are at risk of being robbed and/or shot.


Women are at risk of being kidnapped, tied to a bed and raped for days, weeks, months or even years until their abductor eventually murders them.


Much different risks.

Maybe the women stay home so they don't get attacked at night, and that's why the rate of assaults on guys is higher. But. . . if the women DID go out alone at nigh, they would probably be more likely to get attacked.

Because men are more likely to attack someone smaller than they are. Women live everyday and can think of scary situations and prefer to feel safe. Can you imagine worrying about being a victim just walking to your car? Guys tend to not have to think about the risks

Were scared because we got raped, robbed, murdered for that matter. Cause people are totally insane. Men not so much because there stronger and bigger than us. So unless a woman is packing then she will be safe.
