I have been to prison several times but It's doesn't scare me at all to go in there. Mostly because I have no problems being able to defend myself at all cost.

Doesn't matter if I will win or lose the fight... I will go all in without any hesitation. I rather die fighting then walk away like a coward! Especially in jail where you don't wanna be the weak guy who didn't defend himselve bevause then you will end up being a easy target to take advantage from.

Same thing you can apply as a woman... just make sure you carry a self defense weapon that isn't deadly and don't hesitate to use it if needed. I know lots of woman who are tough enough to keep men at distance. If you are in public and someone bothers you... just start screaming very loudly so that others see or hear you which will result in the guy choosing eggs for his money and flee asap 🤷‍♂️

I understand being a woman by herself alone in the streets can be a very scary undertaking. But whatever you do or how scared you are at that moment... try not to show it by looking down to the ground in fear but instead just put on your angry pokerface because someone who looks angry or pissed off isn't someone you prefer to take advantage from. The scary shy woman who visually looks scared is most likely being targeted first 🤷‍♂️

It's okay to be scared and careful within yourself but try to hide it and disguise it from the outside world by using all of your acting skills and pretend your not scared. And if that isn't working out be prepared and ready to defend yourself at all costs with anything you can use as a self defense weapon. And if you have nothing on you just kick the guy in the nuts when you have the chance because this will knock him down unable to stand up for at least 10-15minutes which is your get away ticket to safety

Women who are raped are almost certain to know the person and half the time it is someone they have previously consented to have sex with, i. e. their partners or former partners.

The streets are probably not very much different in terms of the dangers to men or women but as is always the case no one is making noise about making the streets safer for the male victims of rape who are far more likely to be raped by a stranger than someone that they know.

Now, only time I'm out at night is on the job on a secure campus in a good area. I use to work in a bad area no joke guy got murdered just out side tje building and had drugged homeless breaking into the office with used needles as a weapon. Partly why I left the job as the area weights on you and pay wasn't worth it. While I was there I did have a gun and didn't spend a minute more then I had to down there. I use to hike early morning with a gun as well, being alone out there if I did have a issue it would be on me to get out and it was higher risk. All I'm saying is men dont have magic badges that make them immune to crime/danger.

Where was the lie? I didn't speak on behalf of all men. I was jumped by a group of guys when I was 15 and they stole my bike. I would rather go through that again than get raped. I would rather get tortured to death than get raped. So yes my biggest fear is probably being raped, despite not constantly thinking about it happening 24/7.

Perhaps this (and just being victims of violence in general) being considered a women's issue is why men fall victim to violent crimes (this includes rape) men aren't aware of their surroundings cause they don't feel they have to be. Criminals are opportunists.

I said it isn't something I'm constantly thinking about, but my biggest fear is getting raped. That is the LAST thing I would ever want to happen to me. And I'm sure it's the same for most men.
