We all talk about gender equality. But, realistically speaking, can there really be gender equality?

I feel like we are fighting an eternal war here. Because of the sheer amount of varied opinions and differentiated believers.

No there can’t be. Just as there are differences from man to man, so there are from man to woman. Some men are smarter, stronger, faster, or have natural abilities for things that other men do not. How can you actually balance these inequalities across all men of an entire country, let alone the entire human race? How can it be done for both genders?

The same problem exists in between men and women. Women are naturally better at some things men are are not and vice versa. I don’t hear men complaining only women can give birth and therefore things are unequal.


Why the need to make everything equal?


In terms of rights in the US, no one is disadvantaged or discriminated against except straight, white, men.


Otherwise from a rights and legislative view, things are equal.


Anyone who claims things are not, know it’s tiring hearing the incessant complaints of how terrible it is in the US and how inequitable it is here.


In terms of “women’s rights” none of them are interested in true equality. They want to have and do what men can. Not just in terms of rights. Even if that means discriminating against men so women can have what they want. That’s not equality. That’s special privileges.

It will never happen it the U. S for one reason, the goal post keeps changing. Just like with race. It always starts with "equal rights" but suddenly turns into "special rights". The left intentionally does it to divide in order to keep control of their voting base.

I think there can be gender equality but the thing is that the equality should be made to suit both genders. Some things are better suited to men and others to women, we are not exactly the same so why should be expect the exact same from each other. Hopefully this makes sense, I'm not sure how to put it.😊

No. Unfortunately there is not and there will never be gender equality. Whether we like it or not we live in a man's world and that's not going to change. It's up to men and women to end gender inequality but some people don't care about it. Just like there will never be race equality.

The problem is, that equality seems to be allways differently defined. Gender equality what most feminists want is possible yes. Obviosly not what non-feminsits say that femimists want while trying to discredit them.

There’s no shame in having different roles.
There should also be no abuse or taking advantage of each other. Everyone should be treated with dignity and respect, everyone.
