yup, I won the lottery but I want to keep this country the great place I got to grow up in.. Still, lets get some control over our borders. Immigration laws were passed for a reason.

I do not know about other countries but in the US we are supposed to be a nation of laws with the constitution as the central blueprint for our society. If the laws are not enforced uniformly and the Constitution is ignored, we no longer have a country.

Not true at all. My aunt recently emigrated to England a month ago. The uk has a problem with ilegals crossing the channel from France. What I don't get is why are these refugees and economic migrants fleeing mainland Europe for Britain? Is life so bad in the rest of Europe?

That’s kinda of an argument of incredulity. They’re probably a small percentage. And like all migrants they’re looking for work to support their family.

Was it easier for your aunt to emigrate having family already in England? Guessing it was from Ireland?

It's a pretty large number. I mean Europe is huge compared to Britain and you can't work unless you are there legally no cash in hand jobs anymore.
I think as a former British/English possession/colony an Irish person is free to emigrate to Britain and vice versa without even alerting immigration and think its similar with Jamacia, Barbados, India, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, South Africa. Canada, new Zealand, Australia on the other hand like America are very strict with immigration. I'm not sure what's happening between Britain and the EU, I know a lot of poles returned home with their money made same as Bulgarians.
