4.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I never had a problem at all with migrant workers. In fact, our economy depended on them. It still does. I even marched in support of Caesar Chavez's United Farm Workers Association.
There was a time when day laborers would congregate in certain places in the morning and you could go there to find workers. I hired day laborers before. Every one I hired worked hard and did outstanding work.
Biden screwed the pooch with his open border policy. Those millions who entered the country weren't migratory workers.
I suspect that George Soros' Open Society Foundation played a big role in deliberately destabilizing this country by encouraging people to invade, busing them to the border, and giving them clothes and backpacks. Then they flooded in to cash in on free food, shelter and money per Biden's immigration "plan".
Child traffickers and sex traffickers profited. Organized crime profited. Grifting politicians profited.
Billions in tax dollars got spent. Many communities suffered. Crime soared.
Then came the backlash. Trump is rightly stopping the flow of undocumented aliens. But he is also rounding people up. Many undocumented aliens who had been working in this country for years, building lives, and working on gaining citizenship are getting rounded up, being separated from families, and deported. Everybody is being treated like a criminal.
Who is going to work on farms, in construction, doing day labor, or working as hotel maids?
I agree with deporting many of the recent "immigrants" (for lack of a better word). It would set a bad precedent to let them all stay. And criminals certainly need to be rounded up. But it's a complicated issue. I feel sorry for some people. Are we going to ship people back to Mexico who have lived here since childhood and don't even speak Spanish?
And now Trump is deporting anyone who criticizes Israel.
I don't know. I think the approach is maybe too callous and heavy handed.01 Reply

Some people don’t understand by making it easier not more difficult to gain citizenship here, those individuals that were desperate to cross dangerously at the risk of themselves would just go through the legal way?
I’ve seen truck hauls filled to the brim with people just trying to start a new life / seek refuge / give their families a shot at a better life even in dangerous conditions. If the US Govt made it easier for noncitizens to be granted citizenship, our economy would grow.
Low skilled workforce will always need low skilled labor, which just so happens to be a steady flow from ‘immigrants’.
High skilled workforce will always need high skilled labor, which just so happens to be a steady flow from ‘natural born citizens’.Both work flows are needed for a stable economy. Low skilled handles construction, farming, and generally low wage low benefit physical labor. High skilled handles more medical, mathematic, educational, and other ‘mental’ labor. Low skilled will take on low skilled and high skilled will take on high skilled, there is plenty jobs and without one or the other our economy would tank.

You are given certain unalienable rights under jurisdiction of The United States of America, whether citizen or not and ‘Due Process’ is one. The majority opinion of ‘SCOTUS’ states otherwise!
Supreme Court of The United States Majority Opinion means they are entitled to due process, “For all the rhetoric of the dissents, today’s order and per curium confirm that the detainees subject to removal orders under the (Alien Enemies Act) are entitled to notice and an opportunity to challenge their removal. The only question is which court will resolve that challenge,”. So yes due process seems to be allowed for those of non-citizenship.
Another point which I could be missing or misinformed of is from a basic surface level, You are also entitled by the US Constitution of due process, regardless of citizenship or noncitizenship. Could be wrong, just adding this here.

I see he/she/they already found you. He/she/they bounce from pink to blue accounts every week so I want to be respectful of other people's pronouns as I don't know which gender he/she/they identify as.

it's absolutely crazy how liberals have managed to brainwash people into thinking that everyone should just be able to walk across our border and take whatever they want from us. buying stolen social security numbers to steal tax-payer dollars along the way.
They don't like OUR borders, but they are very much against the US crossing the border to shoot the shit out of the criminal Mexican cartels because "can't do that across Mexico's border". lmao, so yeah it's hilarious they respect Mexico's border but not ours.
Fences are criminal and ineffective, yet they still gather around Obama's fence to perform cum-tributes on his great wall.

If All Illegal aliens or Unwanted immigrants and migrants were really invading and harming lives of americans as much as people say they are, then I could kinda get why people would want migrants and immigrants to stop coming. But from what I seen that's just not the reality.
Now a days it seems like people like trump's team refer to all immigrants and migrants as illegal aliens or certainly treat them like they are. We used to believe in a system where all people are equal and innocent until proven guilty. Now the judge's word doesn't mean anything if the immigrant already gets the deportation slip.01 Reply - 12 d
They understand, they just choose not to recognize the distinction because it takes away their ability to say conservative people hate immigrants.
11 Reply 4.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. How do you determine you yourself are not an illegal immigrant without due processing? You don't get a lawyer, you don't get a day in court, you just get kidnapped with a burlap sack over your head and find yourself in an el Salvador jail. What do you do?
Our constitution is very deliberate in the words "person" meaning everyone and "citizen" the actual united states of America citizens. Every thing with crime and due process states "person."

Oh please. If they really wanted to crack down on “illegal aliens,” they would be charged the businesses that employ them.
They are not holding them responsible. Wonder why that is.
"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!".
Guess it’s time to change that to a simple “FUCK OFF.”Or better yet. Just give the statue back. It doesn’t hold the same meaning any more.

Why do you not see the difference from immigrants arriving at Ellis Island and becoming citizens and drug smuggling, child trafficking cartel employees sneaking across the border? Just because Biden went against the immigration laws of our country doesn't make it right. Are you unaware of all the rapes and murders that occurred over the last 4 years? Or do you accept it in the name of liberal rule? "FUCK OFF" , really? 😮 shit stain.
