How should parents handle their kids being bullied especially physically?

That's part of the reason I don't plan on becoming a parent, I don't think I could help a kid in that type of situation. I would make sure they're safe at home, try to get the school or the bully's parents to do something about them but that's not likely..

a kid who is getting bullied is already in a lose lose situation. he's getting beaten up, humiliated, rumors about him spreading, girls rejecting him, shamed for everything even for things outside of his control etc. he might as well fight back and at least keep his dignity intact

if getting detention, suspension or expulsion is the price, so be it

I don't think I'd be able to keep myself from murdering a kid like that, but fortunately we will be homeschooling. I think that's also a big reason my dad was insistent on homeschooling.

No, but keeping them safe until their old enough to understand why things like that happen and how to handle is super important. I think most parents seriously neglect their children in that aspect and that is why so many kids have trauma and/or just don't know how to adapt right.

Yeah, happens common these days. My niece who is 8 years old was forced into dating a black kid at her school. They kept calling her racist because she didn’t like him. She kept getting bullied.
