Why do the children of the ruling class get to benefit from a life of luxury stolen from the American taxpayer but the children of those paying said taxes get dirty water bad roads, collapsing I frastructureand failing public schools? Where are the testosterone beasts who would have done something about it in the 18th century?

Most of the money sent to Ukraine is in the form of stuff that the government already purchased such as used military equipment that is no longer usable by your military. As such they are not actually something that costs the government anything to sell, and in most cases actually saves them money in the long run since that equipment needs to be taken care of and maintained every year at tax payer expense.
Aside from that, the amount of money sent to Ukraine in actual cash is not really that much. If we add everything up, all the aid, military equipment, everything from every country that has sent anything, you get somewhere in the 100 billion dollar range. While that might sound like a lot, you are comparing it to the US national debt which is 31 trillion. In other words 0.3% of the US national debt.
Its not going to do anything, especially since only a fraction of that is from USA and in the form of actual money.
Um, do you really think there was LESS political money laundering in previous centuries?
I'm worried about now and my kids futures.
As you should be. But there's actually far less by way of money laundering scandals nowadays in the high levels of politics than there used to be (although obviously the sums today are much larger). Also, remember that 90% of the national debt is owed TO AMERICANS, and the idea of needing to pay your debts quickly is due to the fact that a human's ability to earn goes down as they age, and eventually grinds to a virtual halt, while this does NOT happen to countries. This particular area, at least, is of less concern than you seem to be thinking.
The general cavalier attitude towards financial responsibility is of course another matter.
So you can't or won't explain why a foreign country is more deserving of American resources than Americans?
Sure I can- but that's not what's happening here.
Clearly😂
