I don't understand why we pretend this is symptomatic of "White" American Culture.

Look, I get mad with racists too! They make me mad, piss me off. But what good does is it to do what they want. They want a race war. They want us to attack "White" people on the same basis racists attack non-"Whites". It does not work. It doesn't make sense. And in the end it backfires.

Racism has only one master. And anyone else trying to use it can only do the bidding of racists.

I get that beliefs/behaviors are cultural. But if we truly believe that, then we would know folk who believe in the principles of racism do so regardless of skin color. People are taught these principles and beliefs. They are indoctrinated and radicalized. But it is not something we can just associate with "White" people or even with "White" American Culture. Anyone, "Black", "White", "Yellow" or "Pink" can adopt these beliefs. I would remind everyone, that even during the Civil War, most "White" people sided with the North. That was over a 150 years ago.

Five "Black" officers beat an innocent Black man to death just miles away from where Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated. King at the time was fighting for the very rights and freedoms these officers enjoy today. He fought for them to be able to serve as officers in Memphis, Tennessee. And this was their way of honoring that legacy. We have to stop pretending that racism is simply a "White" person's disease. Because this is how messed up racism truly is.

I will not answer your poll but I will try my best to explain to you about the three things you are using to show white people in a bad light.
1. Colonization. Well, turns out that any advanced civilizations would have done the exact same thing. We are animals and there were no rules back then. What I am explaining to you is if another civilization would have been as advanced, they would have done the exact same thing. White people account for less than 10% of the world’s population but colonized 80% or more of the world in a ridiculously short time period.
2. American slavery. Did you know that slavery was practiced on a global scale? Yeah, it wasn’t only white people. It was literally everyone. Africans would capture themselves and sell themselves into slavery for profits. Heck, even the native Americans would capture and enslaved themselves at the time.
3. MAGA-mass shootings. I will not mention to you about who actually kills more people percentage wise despite being a minority but the truth is we don’t commit the majority of homicides. Not even close.
We also do not condone this behavior by those who do. When Patrick crusius shot down Hispanics in El Paso, we didn’t support him. I was actually helping at the time. Hispanics didn’t feel safe to go back to Walmart so we would stand by the doors protecting them. My girlfriend also helped to decorate for the lost family members. Yes, my girlfriend and I are both conservative and Trump supporters. We are not all mass shooters. We are not all racist people like you make us out to be.

Also 'God' is definitely not white lol - islam/judaism/christianity all emerged in the middle east if you're thinking of that God, but there have been many civilisations with all their different gods, paganism has existed much longer than monotheism (ancient greeks, romans, egyptians etc), i think hinduism is the oldest religion in the world and that emerged in India - when ideas of religion emerged, people see their gods as images of themselves

As a Southern white man, I'm not sure why I'm supposed to be ashamed of slavery. Slavery created more jobs than any U. S. president ever. Now, you can argue that they worked for free, but that's simply not the case. They were given food and shelter. The images you see of slaves being physically abused are rare cases. The Southern whites gave the black man the ability to learn about God, rather than running around naked doing voodoo. The federal government is the reason why things got bad for blacks.

That's literally every race's history. Conquering lands, enslaving people and causing pointless violence has been things every single race has done.

In fact, slavery is still around in some non-western countries but we still make it a white people thing. China is trying to conquer Taiwan, pretty sure the Chinese don't count as white. Nope, I am glad we colonized America. We turned it into the greatest country in the world. If Columbus did not discover America imagine what the world would be like? Indians would still be living in teepees and shooting game with a bow and arrow. Inventions loke the telephone and the nuclear reactor would have never been invented and there would be no cure for Polio, small pox or diphtheria. The world would be a very different place.
