My use of this site notwithstanding, I am a staunchly non-computer person. In fact, I still carry a flip-phone and pine for the days when the phone was on the wall in the kitchen and was attached to a cord. Suffice to say, I have never seen a Tik Tok, Facebook or other such site in my life and hope to keep it that way.

Moreover, I danced at my high school senior prom, a few weddings, a few bars and cannot imagine why anyone would want to see me dance - in person let alone on a website. So why people - unless they are stars or are on "Dancing with the Stars," a show I have never actually seen in my life - want to be seen dancing is beyond me.

So do I "cringe?" Only in the sense that I cannot imagine why anyone would feel it an imperative of their lives to put their dancing out in public. The problem being as much then the means as the end in itself.

I have done that once, but not alone it was a planned large group in a nearly empty mall where everyone burst into dance.

Not sure if that is considered a tiktok on public dance, but everyone had been doing it solo before that and now did it with a 100+ people.
