It is really disturbing that the left-wing political party in the USA is obsessed with full media censorship. The frightening part is that they have managed to take control, or at least heavily influence, at least 90% of all media in the country. In addition to that, they somehow took control of the entire education system. In every school, college, and university, the faculity are are "woke" leftists. You would very hard pressed to find a teacher that is not also woke. How did the opposition party ever allow things to get this way? Perhaps 10% of the population is radicalized woke, so how is it that better than 95% of teachers are? This all sounds frighteningly familiar to me. I studied German WW2 history in school and this is exactly, step-by-step, how the socialist Nazi party took control of Germany. They took over the media and schools to indoctrinate and pacify the nation. These Democrats also love socialism, and AOC is one of the main ones who promote it.

Social media companies are no different than telecommunications and should have no right to dictate what your allowed to see just like ISP's have no right to dictate to what websites you can visit. FYI government shouldn't be dictating what social media should and shouldn't censor.

They are completely different. Like telephone companies, ISPs generally enjoy a local monopoly. Their customers have little or no choice if they want high-speed internet. Social media sites do not have a monopoly. Yes, there is a neighborhood effect, but you don't have to use any particular site. If you don't like the currently popular sites, you can use Trumpworld or create your own social media website.

Social media sites are bound by the law and federal regulations and restrictions. If banning and censoring users for discriminatory reasons related to politicial affliation, religious beliefs, race, Gender, Sexuality etc is legally allowed then they are free to do such unless the laws are changed.
