How can people deny global warming is happening with all the evidence?

I’m looking at the weather forecast right now and there’s all these days that are going to be in the 60s coming up, in the middle of winter? That’s not normal at all. It didn’t happen when I was a kid.

Because the models that were used have been proven obviously incorrect- I can state from direct observation that Florida is NOT under ten feet of water, and snow has NOT ceased to exist, even though the year 2000 was decades ago.

Of course, just because the models were inaccurate doesn't mean the whole theory is wrong, but the doomers insist on STICKING to those models, pretty much guaranteeing that no one with a working brain is going to take them seriously- likewise, relentlessly pushing solar power as "The Solution" when solar panel production is the single biggest source of sulfur hexaflouride (the most potent greenhouse gas known to man) emissions is so damn hypocritical that even people WITHOUT working brains don't take them seriously.

The danger has been completely lost in a sea of political posturing and greed.

In my hometown, the record high temperature of 104° F. was recorded on three separate days: June 19, 1998, July 11, 1879, and July 28, 1872.

The record low tempearature, 9° F., was recorded on January 21, 1985.

What does that "prove?"

I know right? I also don't understand how come they deny it will all evidence around them. I guess they either live in an alternative world or they don't want to see what's in front of them. I call "bullshit". 50 years ago, Jacque Cousteau began sounding the alarm about global warming from his intensive observations of underwater and reef life. In 1992 he spoke in Rio at the Earth Summit and gave the same message. He was spot on then, and everything he predicted about ocean life is true now, directly BECAUSE of rising temperatures on land and in the seas.

The climate has been changing for thousands of years. It has not been proven that cO2 emissions have anything to do with it. There were more emissions during the industrial revolution and yet nobody was screaming that the climate was changing. Personally I think the population explosion has more to do with it than burning fossoil fuel.

To put it shortly certain molecules are absorpting and adsorpting more the wavelengths returning from the planet surface than the ones coming from space thus acting as insulation thus the greenhouse effect.
Explaining how it works on a atomic level would first require teaching some basics.
A bit like explaining how yeast works in practice Vs on a bacterial level.

You were not even taught basic thermodynamics in school.

Find one atmospheric CO² measurement that wasn't taken in close proximity to an active volcano

Because the earth has existed for 4.5 billion years. And has went through many cycles. I watched a program the other day about the Arctic camel which roamed the Arctic 3.5 million years ago because the arctic was about 30 degrees warmer. And global Temps were about 3.5 to 6 degrees warmer. To give that context in the last century the global temp has risen about 1 degree.
