Sooo, it's aliens now?

America is now refusing to rule out alien craft. They are no longer calling the things they shot down balloons but rather "objects" speculating they may not be of this earth.

But what are the consequences of popping alien balloons? (sorry objects). Could we start an intergalactic war? Ruin interplanetary trade agreements? Be forced to admit all those "probing" stories were real?

How could it possibly be the chinese... I mean, why would they do that when they can use a satellites... they know we see them. They aren't that crazy.. to go snooping around our missile silos like we aren't looking at a radar. The chinese are smart enough to put "Budwhiser" or "Goodluckyear" on the side of those balloons and sail them during golf tournaments.

Now if they start dropping fortune cookies, I think they are testing "direct drop" product delivery... cheaper than air or ship. It's about money?

We're easily amused, aren't we? It's both rich meme fodder and conspiracy theory material, but as you well know it can't be an American conspiracy theory unless it involves the CIA, with George Soros funding it. We're not there yet. I fully expect an uptick in alien abduction stories on the internet. Related question: do British conspiracy theories involve MI5, MI6, or GCHQ? Which sinister wealthy Brit is funding their antics?

The British tend to lack imagination when it comes to conspiracy theories. I've had a look on the wiki and most are them are aincient. Most modern ones are around covid or about migrants. Interesting, thanks. There is no shortage of conspiracy theories here. It doesn't speak well of Americans, but some of our wayward children can spin anything into a conspiracy theory. Just this morning one of the staff walked in and said he thought the "objects" were nothing more than shiny objects to distract us from what government is really doing. Personally, I think these objects are military surplus weather balloons filled with natural gas by teenage boys with too much time on their hands.

I don't know from what they try to deflect with this balloon BS? Every day start more than 2000 balloons around the world into stratosphere to get weather data, low earth orbit is filled with spy satellites space agencies need special programs to avoid collision if they want to start a rocket and no one really cares.
